I've stayed here twice for work. It's conveniently located in the city center, with plenty of restaurants. The food is delicious, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I'd recommend adding a laptop table or water heater.

The last 3 experiences with fave hotels have been increasingly unpleasant. Both in Surabaya, Bandung and Garut.
The last time I booked a non-smoking room, on the day they said they were sold out, then I was given a smoking room (which "they said" didn't smell, because "they said" there was no smoking in 1 hallway), the result was still smelly. Yes, it's called a smoking room.

I didn't expect fave hotel Garut to be quite big, even though it only has 3 floors but the area is spacious, the parking lot is okay, because we were only transiting so we didn't really need food or other facilities, the wifi is really fast, plus they are free of plastic bottles, so there is a water dispenser in the hallway, amenities are also available if you need them, there is a slight minus in the shower which is not okay, it seems like the showerhead needs to be replaced because the water flows in small streams, it's a bit difficult to take a shower, but it's okay because there is still a tap that can be used for ablution, and there is a prayer mat + Al-Quran 👍❤️ so there are pluses and minuses, huh

The service is okay, the breakfast is delicious, to Bumi Upi just cross the road.
The restaurant food is also affordable for hotel prices, so if you don't feel like going out at night, just order it and it will be delivered to your room.
