Gazebo Beach Hotel

This resort is pretty sad. The pools are unswimmable due to significant black mould growth (metres of it on the pool walls). Rooms are dirty, dusty, musty, and the bathrooms are filthy. We were booked for 13 days but left after a matter of hours. We had booked a family room but were provided two seperate non-adjoining hotel rooms. I would suggest this is the worst hotel in sanur, if it was in NZ or AU it would have been shutdown. The staff are nice and you feel sorry for them as the lack of maintenance and poor facilities are not their fault.

Free breakfast, very accommodating staff. The 70 yr old gardener carried my suitcase.

Loved gardens pools and dining areas

Prime beach location surrounded by lush gardens with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beach. Tranquil, Balinese character bungalow, two small swimming pools and a beach front cafe. Bathrooms were dated and felt grubby detracting from overall comfort. Daily cleaning of the bathroom was inconsistent and I had to request soap and fresh bathmat. Modernising the bathrooms and improving the cleaning service would bring up the standard of the hotel.

Very outdates place and even the sheets and towels were old and stained. Reception staff were rude. Property has beautiful gardens but fhe buildings are old and worn.

This is an older property in a fantastic position, it is a shame that the rooms have not been maintained as it could be amazing! The rooms were clean but linen, bathrooms, tv's etc very outdated. Grounds were clean and tidy.

Beautiful garden. I stayed in the simplest accom. Big room and bathroom with another side room. Right on the beach. Cons: pool has black mould, no wifi in room.

Pleasant stay but hotel is getting very old and rooms needs updating.

The Gazebo resort grounds are a wonderful green garden with plants everywhere. The gardener takes great care of the grounds. There are 2 pools which are nice for a refreshing dip The room was spacious. The only complaint would be the room wss a little musty. The a/c needed to be run before we got there and better if the filter was cleaned. Other than that, it's a nice place with all kinds of eateries within minutes walk.

Booked for 1 month left after 1 day. Place needs major overhaul

This place was beautiful on its day but now it’s a bit run down. Staff are amazing and gardens are also amazing

The hotel room we got was in the back, and no breakfast incl...The bathroom is really old and poor, and not really cleaned. The breakfast was poor and the restaurant also looking old. Maybe this place was nice 30 years ago, but not anymore. Only positive is the garden, and the beach nearby..

The place is a little old and worn down, so don’t expect a high end luxury stay. But it is reasonably priced for what you get. The shower heads in my room were pretty bad, barely any water came out, needs a good soak or cleaning so it works. The breakfast is very minimal, not much to choose from except a few slices of fruit, some toast or they can cook you some eggs. I did eat dinner here a few times at their restaurant, was very cheap and food was good. Bedding had a few permanent stains on there also and mosquitoes found their way into the room easily with the cracks in the door. I’m not picky so all this was ok for me, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. But if you are picky, or travelling with a princess, this place is probably not for you. But if you are on a budget and ok with roughing it a little, this is your spot!

It’s has direct access to the walking path by the beach. 2 pools, I didn’t use but thought were nice. The sheets smelled like they didn’t dry right. I got bit by mosquitos while sleeping. They provide fridge but no hot water or coffee. I had to go out for food but there were so many choices. Oh. And there is no WIFI

Beachfront

Affordable, beachfront, near Bali icon mall, lovely gardens, pleasant staff. Happy.

We like the fact that it’s a traditional style hotel with lots of gardens winding paths that runs from the street to the beach. The hotel does require some work but for the price it’s worth it breakfast is basic but enough to get you going and yes We would stay there again.

Gardens & pool areas

The property had two different swimmimg pools. One of them was close to the beach and restaurant. There was a little algae growth on the edge of the pool. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. They have beach access with beach chairs as well. We stayed in the villa rooms for 4 people. There were two twins and a queen. The room was clean and comfortable. The whole property was very long. Our rooms were in the back right by the beach, but it was a 4 min walk to get back there from the front. It was all pretty, it seemed they had a lot of rooms, but I'm not sure how many had people in them. It just seemed a little older, but we were content with our stay.
