It's been my 3rd time staying at this hotel and it's always comfortable even though it looks like an old hotel. For Deluxe: spacious room, carpeted, soundproof, spacious bathroom + bathtub, but the price is very affordable. Maybe with the same room specifications, you can get 2x the price at other hotels. Breakfast is always delicious, of course, this hotel is Minang style, so it never fails in terms of culinary. Only the 3rd time Minus the AC is not cold enough, not like before. Please pay attention to its maintenance.

For the large room, it's the champion, but it's a shame that the breakfast is full of sugar for all the drinks (juice, herbal medicine, all the cakes), the sweetness is very strong, not naturally sweet, the AC in room 905 is leaking, there's one receptionist who's not very friendly, oh basically I didn't enjoy it because I'm a lover of breakfast food reviews and the value for the taste is zero.

Very memorable stay at Horison Balairung, thick Minang nuance, friendly staff service, spacious bedroom, very comfortable and clean, bathroom is also spacious and clean, breakfast menu is all delicious. Dispenser is provided in the hallway in front of the room, so it is not difficult to find drinking water when running out, just refill it. Thank you Horison Balairung.

The reception staff is very friendly, check in and check out process is fast. The room is spacious and clean, there is a prayer mat for praying. There is a mineral water dispenser in the hallway, free refill. Very close to the Transjakarta bus stop, if you need public transportation. Overall, pleasant.

A hotel located on Jalan Matraman Raya, East Jakarta. There is a typical Minangkabau gonjong on the top of this hotel building. Yes, Hotel Balairung is also the place for the West Sumatra Provincial Government Liaison Agency in Jakarta. My experience staying here, I was given a welcome drink when I checked in. On the 3rd floor, there is a mosque. The room I stayed in was quite spacious. In the room provided a prayer mat and the Quran. In the room there is also a refrigerator and safe. In the room there is a special tap for ablution. Breakfast is available at the Santan restaurant, which is on the 1st floor. The food choices are varied. There is a unique menu, namely several typical Minang dishes are provided. This further strengthens the image of Hotel Balairung which does have a Minangkabau nuance. Please try it.
