Very pleasant and convenience room and bath room with competitive price. Located very close to the Telogorejo hospital, food stalls and shopping malls. Would be great if an exhaust fan is installed in the bath room.

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at the Grand Arkenso Semarang Hotel. It's strategically located in the city center, next to Plaza Simpang Lima shopping center and across from Ciputra Mall. It's a short walk to Simpang Lima, close to various culinary spots, and on Sunday mornings, you can exercise and enjoy Semarang's car-free day. Even though it's an older hotel, the service is excellent, with a warm welcome from the staff, spacious and clean rooms, clean bathrooms, clean towels, and well-functioning hotel facilities. The prompt service when we asked for the sofa to be cleaned made our stay very comfortable.

The bedrooms were clean, but some of the facilities seemed poorly maintained. The daily menu was the same and needed to be changed to keep guests staying more than 3-4 days from getting bored.

The food wasn't very tasty, with the same variety every day, no changes. I stayed for 5 days. The parking area is quite far for those with private cars. The towels, sheets, and pillows didn't smell good, as if they hadn't used fragrance during the washing process. There was no lotion available. A comb was only given when requested, and the TV was still analog.
Hopefully, the quality will improve in the future, considering this hotel's strategic location.

The room was spacious and clean. We booked a new executive room for 1.2 million rupiah per night on the weekend. It's a shame the facilities are minimal for that price. The swimming pool is under renovation, the food selection is limited and the restaurant is cramped. It's difficult to find a table when it's busy, and the main course takes a long time to refill. It's not worth staying here again for that price.

The room is spacious, there is a bathtub, the kids are happy to be able to soak in it, to make up for not being able to swim in the swimming pool because it is being renovated, to join the CFD at Simpang Lima just go down from the hotel.
