From the first time my foot step the Santika Pandegiling I feel the warm welcome from the staff. The receptionist voice intonation was so perfect so that make me feel like I am welcoming by them, if I am not mistaken her name was Ellen. Then again I enter room and I was surprise when I saw a welcome cake and welcome letter with my name mentioned in the table, small touch but meaningful. The breakfast was so delicious. Everything was so amazing here. For sure I will be coming back here

The AC wasn't cold enough, the hot water was a bit weak, and the toilet water was a bit cloudy.
But it's close to the city center.
There are lots of vendors selling typical Surabaya food around the hotel.
And all the staff are very friendly.

The place is nice, but the AC is not cold enough, the amenities are only for 1 person, such as toothbrush and toothpaste, the TV remote can't be used so it has to be manual.

Stayed 2 nights in an executive room for business.
Pros: Good price. Old hotel and furnishings, but clean room. Friendly staff. Fast check-in and check-out. Hairdryer in the bathroom.
Cons: The water smells a bit bad, especially in the toilet, sometimes brownish. The lobby is clean, but there are lots of mosquitoes at night.

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, but the sheets had a few stains, and the Wi-Fi was slow.
The downside was that I booked an executive king room, but it didn't support smart TV. That's a shame, but that's my only suggestion.
The breakfast was decent, and the room was quite spacious and clean, with a view of the city.
