20yrs ago I had a memorable stay in this beautifully designed B&B and I still enjoy the same hospitality and warmth from the staff during my stay in the past week. The attractive Balinese Hindu architectures and the lush garden is enough to spend some time admiring I. Very charming place! It is also centrally located and within walking distance to the rice fields, ubud art market, the busy morning pasar and many selection of cuisine, local and international, along the same street. Plenty to explore in the neighborhood. Thanks to the owner's recommendation which I would have otherwise miss the Kecak Fire & Trance Dance. Performed at the nearby Hindu Temple's open compound, it is more than just a traditional dance. This story dance is simply mesmerizing, especially catching it with a full moon at the background.

Amazing property, with incredibly attentive staff. They took care of everything from the moment of check-in - tending to specific requests, breakfast times, early breakfast during check out, finding a lost item, and ferrying things in/out of the room on the bell cart. One of the most attentive staff I have seen globally! Props to the staff!

The place is very authentic and simple .Our room was small and basic we also had a small balcony and a pool on the ground. The breakfast are very great. I would say that they are very nice in trying to fulfill your needs. The point of honnor is the kindness and friendly people. Thanks you for all!

This guesthouse is beautiful, on the grounds of the family home and so small and personable. It was wonderful to see Ketut dressed ready for the Kecak dance and then spot him during the dance in the temple almost next door. The staff were so very accomodating to us and to selective and off/variation-in menu food demands (unusual but serious child allergy). They were always so helpful, smiling and kind and also interactive with my son. I was very happy with the price, food and drinks were very reasonable too. It was our first visit to Ubud, so a bit of culture shock linked to navigating a walk down the road for smallish man (which eased with the jet lag), but the place is very close to everything and they will organise taxis for a reasonable fare (for Ubud) if it's a way out - plus transfers and tours. Thank you Ketut's place and our driver iNyoman.

We enjoyed our stay at Ketut's place. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately the A/C was poor so we were very hot in our room during our stay. The staff did come and reset which helped a little but still not cool enough. The lock was also not ideal as it was a padlock but you can still put your arm through the door.
It was a lovely place to stay if you are looking for an authentic accommodation in the heart of Ubud.

Ketut's is a traditional Balinese oasis off the busy road upon which it sits. The family that owns the establishment are wonderfully kind and the staff is lovely. We so enjoyed the breakfast options as well. I loved the black rice pudding. ooooo. When we first arrived, we walked the 15-minute walk into central Ubud but eventually ended up taking a Grab for the remainder of our days. We are 52 and 60. The Grab runs about $1. The walk is not bad, it's just a quite busy street with some uneven steps. We ate at the Indian, Mexican and Italian restaurants down the street and enjoyed all of them! Thank you Ketut, Neoman and family! You really made us feel welcome!!

Really disappointed. Ketut's Place should be an amazing b&B. The location is great, the layout of rooms, pool, and the stream/valley are all lovely. However, it's clearly lacking love and investment. The curtains in the bedroom / bathroom were mouldy, bedding smelt, even the new towels didn't smell clean. With just a bit on investment on a few things, this would be an amazing boutique B B in a great location in Ubud.

So very excellent Nyoman and his staff are just the loveliest people.the whole experience was delightful. Any small thing was no trouble at all. The food from the kitchen was delicious especially the pesto pasta and club sandwiches! Highly recommend it to couples, families or singles. Also we loved the pool and the gardens
