We stayed at 5 different hotels during our trip to Bali and this was by far the best. Our private pool was nice and cool (thanks to the shade), the air conditioning units worked very fast, the bathroom was huge and really well decorated. The TV in the lounge was great and had access to various streaming apps with the hotel already logged in. We stayed in other rooms with private pools during this trip which didn’t even come close.
There were small gaps in the sliding doors/windows where small insects could get through however this appears to be common in Bali. The gaps were very small and we had gaps 5 x as big in other hotels.

It was great! Everything looked just like the pictures. We were in walking distance of everything. Extra convenient and easily accessible area. The area where the resort was is very quiet but you can get to all the good stuff right down the block. Lots of spas (Re Massage Studio was the best), restaurants, and nightclubs/nightlife. Yoga was very kind and accommodating. All the staff were so friendly and nice. I would definitely go back to this property.

Our time at Maca was excellent. The villa is quiet and clean. The staff are so accommodating, timely, and friendly. The breakfast that was included was very good, and the food at Mase is tasty. Recommend the cooking class if you choose a relaxing day at the hotel. It’s fun and the food was good. Tons of restaurants and bars and shopping in the area.

The place was very clean, as the staff cleaned the villa twice a day without any request. The outdoor areas and the pool were also well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the restaurant. One night, we had a lizard crawl into our villa, which is common on an island. We called the staff at 3 AM, and they were able to remove it in less than five minutes. Whenever we called for room service, they arrived promptly to assist us. The location was quiet, and we hardly saw our neighbors, which provided us with a lot of privacy. If we get the chance, we would definitely visit MacaVilla again.

It’s a very beautiful and peaceful space, with amazing staff however I just had some trouble with insects and ants that kept re-accumulating which made me feel slightly unsettled in the space. I feel like that might be the nature of the space with the beautiful individual pools and open doors. The butler and staff were very quick to attend to it and make it better.

I had a wonderful experience! The staff accommodated my birthday decor request and surprised me with a birthday treat! The villa was very spacious and the pool was just perfect! The breakfast was delicious and the spa provided the perfect touch after a long day of surfing & site-seeing!

The room was lovely with a private pool and sliding doors that open to the bedroom and living room. There are 3 TVs in the villa which was superb. It was clean and tidy and they offered free breakfast. The restaurant was lovely too. The location was convenient. The only downside was the wellness and spa centre. The hot pool area had an odour to it and looked a little run down.
