POP! Hotel Kelapa Gading

The hotel has access to Kelapa Gading Mall and is located in the center of Kelapa Gading so access to everywhere is easy.

A clean hotel, comfortable beds, and great amenities. It's integrated with a mall, so you can buy just about anything. It's easy on the budget.

The sheet is not pure white, there are stains that have been treated, and there are nail clippings in the gaps between the mattress. A WhatsApp request took more than 20 minutes to respond. The item arrived in the room in total, taking almost an hour. Please fix this. The Wi-Fi connection is intermittent.

It's quite good, but the lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste is quite a hassle, even though pop is still available in Jogja. And the security guard guarding the mall door is apparently unfriendly and acts as he pleases, smoking and squatting to greet guests.

Disappointing Stay: Poor Cleanliness and Terrible Value for Money Overall Rating: 2/5 (Terrible Value) My recent stay at this hotel was highly unsatisfactory, primarily due to significant issues with cleanliness and poor service offerings that simply did not justify the price paid. The Room: Major Cleanliness Issues The cleanliness of the room was the biggest disappointment. We encountered several unacceptable issues: Stained Linens: The bed sheets were visibly stained, suggesting they were either not properly washed or were too old to be used. This immediately made us uncomfortable. Pest Problem: We found small ants marching in a line right along the headboard of the bed, indicating a clear lack of pest control and general hygiene maintenance. Worn-Out Towels: The bath towels provided were not white and clean as expected but had a noticeable grayish hue, indicating they were heavily worn and poorly laundered. Minimal Facilities and Rigid Service Beyond the cleanliness issues, the hotel facilities and services were extremely minimal: Bathroom Amenities: The toiletries and bathing facilities were minimalist to the point of being inadequate. Late Check-Out Policy: We were only granted a late check-out until 1:00 PM, which felt overly restrictive and inflexible given the price point and the standard hospitality practice offered by comparable hotels. Conclusion: Not Worth the Price In summary, the combination of poor hygiene (stained sheets, ants, dirty towels) and a lack of flexible guest service makes this hotel terrible value for money. The price charged is clearly not commensurate with the low quality of the accommodation provided. I cannot recommend this hotel and urge management to address these foundational cleanliness and service issues immediately.

Always come back and stay here again, especially since it's next to Kelapa Gading Mall, if you want to eat and shop, just go downstairs 😉🥰
