Very friendly staff. Amenities a little dated but clean and usable. Buffet breakfast was really good. One disappointment was the on premise Taxi stand. They overcharge by up to 3 times the Bluebird taxi fares.

Staff were amazing with a smile and hello from each one you met. Breakfast was good apart from tea/coffee which unfortunately was always warm. Also people booked sun beads as early as 7.30 am but never used them sometimes till after lunch which meant they were hard to get as my idea of a holiday is a relax breakfast then relax on sunbed. Room.webhadvwas old but again it was kept really clean by room boys.

The hotel was in a great location on the beachfront and close to a good selection of restaurants. The staff very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean. The only criticism is that the bath towels were very rough on the skin.

Room aircon wasn’t sufficient and can’t really control it. Very musty old room. Shower was mouldy and no venting whatsoever so very stuffy! Great buffet breakfast. 2 diff big areas for pool. Very busy. Ppl often lay their towels on chair and disappear for hrs. Big beach hotel but it’s really showing its age in the rooms. North American standards would be 3* I would def not stay here again.

Great for families and nice walks and not far from the new shopping centre

Lovely grounds, easy to rent a bike and explore. Entertainment each night but far enough from room to not hear if you wanted peace. Beautiful location. Staff incredibly helpful.

Reading some of the other reviews of this property I was hesitant about our stay. I was pleasantly surprised! Great location. Wonderful staff. Yes rooms and hotel is a bit dated but keep in mind it was opened in 1979. I thought our room was quaint and had a nostalgic feeling. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Yes as other reviews have stated, the room was a bit small but lovely large deck to sit on and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And really.. how much time do you spend in your room? Other reviews have mentioned how loud it can be around the pool and that there are many children at this resort. I was happy to see there is a designated children's pool that my kids (when younger) would have loved. On the other side of the restaurant is more of an adults, large pool, as well as the beach front. Guests can use the beach chairs free of charge. My only complaint is amount of entitled guests who claim chairs early in the morning, go back to their room, go have breakfast and/or leave the resort to come hours later to then use their chair. The entitlement and "me before you" attitude from hotel guests blew my mind!!! In the buffet and pool area. May 3, all pool chairs were claimed by 8:45. Only 4 people in pool and 3 in chairs. The rest roll in around 10:30/11. During that time if you wanted to enjoy pool, there was not a space for you to sit. Management needs to address this. All in all this is a great resort and wonderful value for your money. Highly recommend

We would have given a 5 all around, however minor issues prevented us from doing so. The following suggestions are provided - Internet in our room was poor, often it will disconnect or was slow. Towels although clean they were a bit old and worn out, they can be replaced. Having provided these suggestions, the place was impeccable, the staff was welcoming and warm and the facilities provided everything you needed for a great vacation. We highly recommend this hotel..
