Great pool and close to the beach

Overall we enjoyed our experience at Prama. The bathrooms were a little tired. Breakfast had good variety but can be quite busy, very friendly staff.

Cheap accommodation bit nothing fancy.

Great hotel, everything you need is in walking distance.

The wife and I loved Prama Sanur Beach. Being able to lay on a lounge on the beach all day was awesome! Thank you to Chef Ida Bagus Ketut Laba and his crew put on the most wonderful spread. You won’t die from starvation! Lezat makan! We will be returning.

Loved the hotel

The hotel looks impressive on the outside with its’ manicured garden, 3 pools and beach front location. Unfortunately the inside of the room is decrepit especially the wc. There is no ventilation resulting in mould stains on the wood vanity counter and the door surfaces. There are on going renovations on the outside, but honestly the room which is the gut of the facility needs a complete overhaul. Having said all that, we did enjoy our stay. The breakfast was excellent. So much variety attempting to catered universally. Watching the sunrise while having breakfast is pretty great too. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Resort is well located near the beach. Pool fantastic Gym was extremely well equipped There was nothing more that we needed except for the rain to go away!!!

Old hotel needs renovation

If you’re looking for a quiet evening don’t book here.. very loud music from 6:30pm from hard rock to duff duff until 10pm every night.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast but very busy restaurant at breakfast time. At times you need to wait for a table. Need coffee makers. Staff running around with coffee pots filling people’s cups. Coffee is then not hot. Get coffee makers.

We loved being on the beach, you can just stroll between the beach and pool. I loved that there was a family pool on one side and a more "adult" pool, it made for a very peaceful swim and hangout. The breakfast buffet was awesome, we enjoyed eating Balinese food but there was a wide selection for all sorts of tastes including typical western palates. We appreciated being accommodated with a late check out the day of our flight. There are a lot of activities on site (night shows etc) that aren't advertised online, for example electric and non-electric bike rentals, traditional balinese night show, etc (with costs but pretty reasonable). There were bands playing on the beach for free most nights. I wish we had stayed longer in Bali and I would definitely return to this hotel. The area around the hotel is very walkable, with lots of restaurants, shops, a grocery etc. The only downside was that the rooms are a little dated and worn, and the cleaning in not spotless (but far from bad).

Outside area is good. Services are average . They provide one bottle 250ml water per day which is insufficient. If need more we have to pay.

We booked a sea view room, which had a great view. The room was spacious enough, but, as others say, it is very tired and old. The floors are i think a laminate, and creak like walking on a bubble. Our bed was comfortable, but my sons room, his bed was a lot firmer. He ask for a mattress topper, which made it better for him. I booked this resort for the beach and pools, as we had our 3yr old granddaughter with us. She was very happy in any of the pools, which was great. Again age is showing in the pools also, tiles are looking worse for wear, especially in kiddy pools. We ate and drank a lot at the hotel, and found the meals to be good. Yes, as others say, cheaper options close by, but, what we got was good. Staff are all very good, which is usual for Bali hotels, my only complaint was house keeping was done later in the day, and as my grand daughter was sleeping, they had to be turned away, or were just asked for extras, without having a full service. My experience other hotels is that housekeeping was done earlier in the day. We would possibly stay here again, i cant say for sure. If your ok with big, and busy, and have children, then it's definitely worth giving it a go.
