The Rambutan is a more traditional Balinese hotel, offering a range of room types, which is set in beautiful gardens that include two swimming pools, a temple, and ornamental stonework. The ambience is very peaceful; many times I listened and could hear only birdsong. A satisfactory breakfast of various options is served in the restaurant by the main pool, and food and drinks are available until late evening. The staff and management are happy, friendly, and very helpful. Being towards the budget end of the hotel pricing scale, there were a few quirks such as floor-level room safes being quite inaccessible, inadequate lighting in places, curtains not quite covering windows, etc. The hotel is convenient for all services and amenities in Lovina; I would stay here again.

Hotel was in a great location, staff need training on how to look after a pool as chlorine was put in at 8 in the morning so you couldn't swim in it. Breakfast was very average

I had the best week here, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The pools are beautiful and the restaurant does good food.
Walking distance to so many Warungs so very handy to find yummy food.
Walking distance to the beach.

Room was tired despite the maintenance. Place was a bit dark but that could be due to the Baliense décor philosophy.

I loved everything about this hotel. The gardens are so beautiful and everything is cared for. It had a lovely feel to it and everyone was friendly. For the price it was great value. I want to go back as soon as possible!

Great centrally located hotel short walk from beach and plenty of nearby restaurants. Old style Bali hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, 2 pools and lovely gardens. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will happily stay here again.

We had an amazing time. This hotel is a perfect definition of boutique hotel. Attention to details, professional and nice staff, Great service. The villa was great, beautiful pool and surroundings. The staff and the owner herself was always there to help, organise tours or taxis and give good advice. Very highly recommended.

We loved everything about rambutan!! The location- so central to food, shopping, Lovina beach! Staff were lovely and the accommodation was spectacular! Plus pools, the spa and lovely outdoor areas. We will absolutely go back there next time in Bali!

Excellent breakfast served with a smile - short walk to the beach and very helpful staff - room was clean and had everything you need. The two pools were very clean and we enjoyed every day sitting there after the beach - many great warungs close by for dinner !! Thanks for a great stay

We stayed at the Rambutan Boutique Hotel for 9 nights , we stayed in a villa opposite the smaller of the two beautiful pools. The villa was lovely , the bed was very comfortable , with very nice quality bed linen . The bathroom was large and well appointed . We could not get over how beautiful the grounds were and the staff were always doing something in the gardens . Al the staff were very pleasant and helpful and always smiling and nothing was too much trouble . If we are lucky enough to go to Lovina again we would defiantly stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday .

Our second time staying here and again it did not disappoint. Rambutan is a graceful traditional Balinese hotel set in lush tropical gardens with comfortable accommodation, 2 beautiful pools, friendly smiling staff and restaurant serving great food. It is centrally located, close to Lovina beach, warungs, a traditional market, shops and atms. Hospitable hosts Richard & Tini live on site. Loved our stay here.

Beautiful grounds, very quiet, clean, balinese style. Great place to relax and enjoy nature sounds. Good location, close to the beach although most of our time was spend at the hotel pool as it was quieter and cleaner than the beach. Good restaurants around as well as supermarket and pharmacy. Good service. Internet not very strong in the room but you can manage. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. If you want quiet and relaxation this is your place. Very tired looking rooms, window in bathroom is fixed open, so you get the constant smell of fire smoke in the room.
The location and complex though are very good
Also did not appreciate being pesttered to take a taxi/ride inside the complex- what happened to privacy?
