I can't believe how spacious this hotel is. It really was a bargain for a room with so much space and amenities to cost less than 50 bucks a night (they upgraded my room, too!). The staffs were very nice and accommodating from the moment I walked in the door till the moment I checked out. Location is also great for beach-goers (5 minute walk). Will definitely go back to this hotel.

This is definitely the best budget hotel around kuta. excellent service by the staff. the staff was so friendly and nice. the food is good. the place is spacious. and it was worth every penny. the location was perfect. definitely will go back here if we go to bali

Breakfast excellent. Could extend time to 10.30.
A delegated smoking area. Smoking around the pool is very unpleasant. Stayed on 2nd floor with pool view and balcony and the smell was not very nice from the smoking.

Room with pool access was really nice and it was wonderful being so close to the pool.
Breakfast was great with lots of options.
The rooftop jacuzzi was lovely for a late night drink and a relax in the pool however we found on occasions it was too busy more suited for the younger people who seemed to really enjoy it.
Rather noisey at night with the road being so close, hotel does provide ear plugs but it can be annoying.
Nice and close to money changes, shops, restaurants and markets.
10 minute walk to the beach
Loved our stay however not very suitable for older couples or families with young children.

Even though the hotel is ageing a bit and needs a bit of TLC the staff more than made up for it. From Sunya who cleaned our rooms daily and a left a super towel animal to Nila ( waitress) who made our sumptuous cocktails . We were very happy with our stay .

I have stayed at Solia many times previously.
Unfortunately the standards seemed to be dropping.
On this occasion aircon in foyer area was often either not switched on or not effective.
The rooms were not daily well cleaned and replenished.
Replacement towels were often returned with with marks on them.
Constant piped music in foyer and reception area was monotonous and annoying.
There was an issue with mosquitoes around the foyer area.
Also cannot understand why the food top spa is not heated nor the jets turned on.
Overall disappointing as the hotel has potential to be of a greater standard then currently displaying.

Location is fantastic for shopping, dining and entertainment. Deluxe rooms are clean- very basic and our level 2 room didn’t have a balcony so made it hard to dry clothes. Had to ask for towel rack twice. Housekeeping didn’t clean room 2 days during our 8 night stay.
Shower head in desperate need of cleaning - so much build up that barely any water came out!
Front desk staff were friendly but lacked essential communication skills necessary when dealing with any requests made.
