The atmosphere of the hotel is very lovely. The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was too. Amenities were plenty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is quite central. The breakfast menu was good too.
A couple of things to note during our stay here were that only 1 elevator was functional during weekdays, and both elevators were functional during Saturday and Sunday only. So during the crowded hourson weekdays, there was a bit of a wait for the elevator. We also called to order Room Service and the operator said that a staff would call us back to take our order but the call never came. We ended up going out to purchase food. It was not a big issue but it would be great if we could order Room Service when we wanted to.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the elevator situation during your stay. The elevator service has been temporarily affected due to an unexpected technical issue, and, for the safety and well-being of our guests, essential maintenance work is currently underway. We fully understand that this may have caused some inconvenience, particularly during peak hours, and we deeply regret any delays.
Furthermore, we apologize for the miscommunication regarding Room Service. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, and we greatly appreciate your understanding. Rest assured, we will be addressing this with our team to ensure that this doesn’t happen again in the future.

Overall the hotel was great. However even with the provided earplugs I was unable to rest well enough in the room that was given to me. Loud noises even at 3 am was disturbing made me feeling tired the next day. Veranda should invest in better soundproofing on their rooms on the lower levels facing the main road.
If you value your sleep. Ask for a better room placement at check-in.

I've actually written my honest review of this hotel many times. Every time I visit Jakarta, I always stay at this hotel. Besides the hotel's cleanliness, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and complete amenities, the homey atmosphere is what makes me miss it. For a business traveler like me, a hotel needs a homey feel. So when I'm in my room, I don't feel like I'm working far from home; I feel like I'm still at home.

First time staying at Veranda hotel, the hotel is nice, clean, the room is clean and quite spacious. For food, the breakfast has interesting variations and all taste good, the dining room in the restaurant is also quite spacious, there is also an outdoor dining area.
