Perfect size and location in a clean and friendly hotel. It’s on a lovely quiet side street that’s just minutes from the castle, duomo, galleria, shopping and restaurants. Our air conditioner was a little slow to start after a long and hot walking tour, but the hotel staff quickly fixed it. Would definitely stay here again

Hotel Milano Castello was fantastic. We had a minor issue with the AC which the staff addressed right away. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A special thank you to the woman who was working the desk, she has curly blond hair and glasses (didn’t catch her name) she was so great to work with on the AC, she really took the time to make our stay great. We will be back.

The staff were helpful and engaged and the property has a good breakfast with plenty of options. The propertly has close access to many Milan tourist sites and is near to a Metro point for going further and to the airport train.

We stayed in the Galleria Suite. I thought it smelled of tobacco, but my husband thought it was a chemical smell. Either way, we struggled to breathe and spent as little time as possible in the room. Allergens weren't labeled at the breakfast buffet, and there was no cappuccino machine. The hotel was in a good location (easy walking to all major attractions and the train station) and sufficiently clean, but we probably wouldn't stay at this particular hotel again. The terrace was nice, and I loved the night-booming jasmine, but the neighborhood nightlife was pretty loud. The free happy-hour drink was a really nice bonus, and all staff was really detailed, accommodating, and kind.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 10 min. walk to the Duomo and Castle, and near many great restaurants and bars. I stayed in the La Scala suite and it was 5 Star. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Milan. The location was ideal, only a short walk to most places, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the artwork beautiful and our rooms clean and spacious. The breakfast was also great, with a large selection of fresh food. We would definitely stay there again.

Th reception desk staff were very helpful getting us taxis. Your first drink at the bar after 6:00 is free every day and the bartender is very nice. I didn’t care for the breakfast buffet - cold eggs and raw bacon. But there were a lot of other choices, so I didn’t go hungry. The room was very nice and clean with walk-in shower. It's a beautiful hotel with courtyard gardens. Very comfortable beds. Within walking distance of the Duomo, LaScala, shopping and great restaurants.

The room was functional but without charm. No drawers for storage, no doors on the closet. The desk staff (except for one man) were the rudest I've encountered in a long time. They treated me as if they were my boss: back-talked to me, could not care less about making my stay a pleasant one. Is this Italian sexism toward a single woman -- by women? The included breakfast was fine and the woman who managed it was very pleasant. Perhaps she could give those two clerks (one brunette, one blonde) some tips.

I was extremely happy staying in the property as I was well taken care of. The rooms are clean with everything new including the towels. The air conditioner worked exceptionally well given that most European hotels pay less attention to cooling. There is a lot of open space inside the property giving it a homely vibe. The location is the best. I took the express train from the MXP airport to Cadorna station and washed walked to the hotel, just 7 minutes from the station. The Duomo is less than 10 minutes from the hotel. There are restaurants and shops all around the hotel. The hotel is very quiet as it is located in a alley. I will stay there again if I return to Milan again. There was no kettle and tea/coffee in the room, which I missed badly.

We are so pleased with our stay at Hotel Milano Castello. Staff, from front desk, housekeeping, food service and the bar were outstsnding. The hotel was clean. It is in a great location to get to all the sites and is in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. The rooms are decent size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of food. My only complaint is there wasn't any facial tissue, i have allergies and it would have been nice to have facial tissue. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Milano Castillo!

This small hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to all local amenities. The hotel is spotless. There is a free mini fridge with water and cans of soda and during happy hour you first drink is free. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely return next time we booking Millan.
