The staff was extraordinary. They spoke beautiful English when my Italian was still not very good. They were very helpful and helped us arrange transportation to Civitavecchia. Nice Italian breakfast. Our room was small but very nice and easy to get too and convient to the Via Aurelia gate where we didn't have to use the steps. All in all a great experience and we highly recommend for it's proximity to the Vatican, neighborhood, staff and charm.

We stayed at three four-star hotels during our trip. Although this one meets the definition of a four star in Rome, it did not live up to our expectations based on the other places. The staff did their jobs in a blasé manner. The room was tiny and very warm. We turned the temp down, to no avail. We ended up opening the window out to a busy street, with a ton of noise. The shower water pressure and temperature varied throughout our visit. The hallways were filthy. We were warned to not touch the sides when using the elevator, a very tiny one which made not touching the sides with luggage near impossible, or the elevator would stop or break. I did not complain to staff. It didn’t seem worth the trouble. The location worked really well as we were headed to the Vatican.

The property is ok , rooms very nice but no full time staff after hours. I got stuck in the elevator at 4:30am leaving for the airport and when you press the emergency button no once answered. I had to call 911 and wait over an hour for the fire dept to break me out. Missed my flight. I suggest a hotel with a staff that’s always on site.

Not the greatest neighbourhood to be in but it's right beside the Vatican, 5 min walk and you're there.. It's given a 4 Star quality but I'd say it's more 3-3.5 Stars. No WiFi, you're expected to tether to an Android device for $5 EU a day and its out of date by 2 years. Couldn't even download netflix on it to watch when trying to wind down in the evening. Other than that, it's solid.

I was on the 3rd floor suite. It was the best room with a breathtaking view of the Vatican. Super cozy and the jacuzzi was awesome. I am disabled, and Andre was so kind and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to my room, recommended me to one of the best restaurants ive even eaten at near by. He was very professional and kind. Will return soon with my family. Great location.

Bottled Water should be complimentary daily. Plastic floor covering around very nice bed is awful. Reception staff not very friendly (one was, one was not) shower door would not stay closed creating water on bathroom floor - hazard.

Very well appointed rooms, walkable location, and quite safe. The rooms were a little bit too small however. Beyond that, I would recommend the hotel becauss the staff was responsive and pleasant from day 1.

The hotel is very discreet, which is fine but not extra easy to find. When we got into our room it was filled with ants and mosquitoes. It was put on the first floor so you can smell garden which would most likely cause this. I asked the receptionist to put on the 2nd floor due to that, he stated they didn’t have anything available (although it was only 2 weekdays). He put us in another garden room, filled with mosquitoes! I got at least 10-15 mosquito bites. I told the receptionist the next day and they did nothing about it. So much for celebrating my birthday and 5 year anniversary. Did not enjoy my stay at and it was extremely uncomfortable. Sad because this hotel has a great potential.
