The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with check-in. They apparently understood that we were first-timers abroad. The best part was the location, as it was close to the station and had many halal restaurants nearby.

The staff are very attentive to guests. Every time we walked near the reception, they noticed us immediately and were ready to assist. Even for simple questions, they were always willing to help. I was really impressed by their service. The location is also great — just outside the crowded area. Once you cross the road, you’ll find plenty of food options, shopping streets, and a metro station nearby.

Great location near multiple subway stations and a lot of options for restaurants. Staff was helpful the whole time and I was suprised with the semi automated check in (there is some interaction with a person but you also interct with a computer by scanning your passport , you confirm some infomration and you get your breakfast coupons automatically). For the check out , you only drop your key in a dropbox and thatˋs it .

Breakfast was okay, I came at around 8:20 and the food was cold but it was good and the service was lovely. Laundry machines are limited to 4 driers and washers, would recommend going early in the morning. Staff tried their best to be accommodating and did very well. Express checkout is a nice touch. Clean linens were at the door every day. When staying, please keep in mind staircases are not for general use, and elevators get extremely busy during checkout time. Would recommend getting downstairs before having to wait 10-15 minutes.

The washroom felt very small, and if you dripped water washing your hands in the sink, it would go on the toilet seat. Clean room, decent location. 2000 yen per hour if you want an early check-in, 500 yen if you want them to call you a taxi.

Staff was nice. The public bath was a bonus and very comfortable. Being in Tokyo, we expected the rooms to be small but they had many amenities. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t control the heat and went from quite warm to frigid on our first night which made for a rough sleep after traveling.

I chose this hotel because it is near the SkyLiner station, very convenient if you're going to the airport. The room was comfortable, a bit small but enough for two people. When I asked about breakfast, they told me it was sold out; I am not sure how that can happen, but there is a restaurant right next to the hotel so I ate there. The lobby was overcrowded with luggage, so there's not much room there if you need to accommodate your stuff. The staff was friendly and the check in/out process was very simple (same as all APA with a machine).

The room was small, but this is expected for a room in Tokyo at this price. The bummer about this place is the air conditioning. It is central and in March it is set for heat. Therefore, the room was very warm and stuffy. I was able to crack open the window and that cooled the room down. The water pressure is amazing. One of the best showers I have ever taken. The outdoor soa area on the top floor is also really nice. I would only ask that they address the air-conditioning situation. One last positive note, the location is outstanding. There is a fantastic yakitori place on the corner. Ueno is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo.
