Excellent location within 5 mins from Kyoto station (closest entrance and exit is the one with the McDonalds). So many food options nearby. Easy to head back to hotel for brief reset before heading out again. Hotel provides umbrellas and a coffee/espeesso machine along with ofcourse tea in the lobby. Each room equipped with laundry and drying combo machine (including detergent too). but humidity makes it hard to dry. Can ask for drying rack from the front desk but will still take 2 days or so to dry.

This is the hidden gem of Kyoto. The room is spacious with a lot of facilities such as a washing machine, microwave, mini oven, even a rice cooker. The service is amazing. Definitely deserves a return visit!

Room was clean, has everything one needs, spacious, washer/dryer combo, kitchen, and zen large window floor/ceiling wall/wall was so fun watching the rain coming down the rain catchers. Staff, each and everyone were kind, respectful and caring. I would stay here again and consider it, my little secret spot.

It was initially hard to find, but that made it quiet. The staff was nice but the housekeeping really stood out. They were really on the ball and friendly. The rooms were dark, which is okay as we needed sleep, but a bit outdated. It was nice having a washing machine.

The eph Kyoto was situated close to the Kyoto Train Station which made it very convenient to taxis, buses, the subway and try bullet trains. What I did not expect was it's zen-like understated beauty and it's quietness. The room was large with a kitchen and washer/drier. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Super experience!

Absolutely exceptional. Perfect central location near the station and Donqui. Breakfast was beautiful every day and having your own washing machine was a god send. Twin beds push together easily and fresh towels daily. A rare gem and will come here again

A wonderful hotel on the less busy side of Kyoto station. Located in a quiet alley, it was an easy walk from the Shinkansen, Kyoto JR station and subway lines and a great base for exploring Kyoto and beyond. It was lovely to have a large room with kitchen and laundry facilities and a large bathroom with separate toilet. The cold drinks in the lobby after 3pm were very welcome after being out in the heat and humidity. We only had breakfast there once but it was very pleasant and the service was very friendly. Highly recommend staying here. My only small issue was there was a tiny gap in the between the edge of the bling and the window which meant some bright light shone in from the feature lighting on the stonework outside the windows, but i was mostly too tired for it to bother me.
