Despite my initial thought that it might be an old building, the hotel felt very modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly welcoming right from the start. Even though I wasn't feeling my best during check-in, they were super patient and helpful. The breakfast was simple but just right, served in a quaint restaurant that had a great vibe and offered a beautiful view. There are also vending machines by the lobby for when you need a quick snack or drink. Our room was spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan at a similar price point, with lovely amenities that made our stay comfortable. What's more, the hotel is just a short walk from Fujisan Station, and you can catch an amazing view of Mount Fuji right from the front of the hotel. I'd definitely recommend Fujisan Station Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Very good location can see the eye. Fuji from the room window, clean room and good breakfast. There is a free shuttle to Kawaguchikoko Station. Room facilities complete with hair dryer.

Clean room, Staff are very helpful . Breakfast was just enough and good. Location very close to Mt Fuji Station within 5mins walk. Would be great if hotel provide pickup or send off to Mt Fuji Station because in the day when we checkout it was raining and we have to push our luggage to Mr Fuji Station to catch the train to Tokyo. If the weather was good we don’t mind pulling the luggage to the train station. However overall experience with the Hotel was good.

Breakfast was the best. Walking distance to the Fujisan station/mall. We did rent a car around but taking a transit or a bus is okay too but you have to olan ahead cause they dont come around often. They have coin landry, free car parking ang a shuttle to specific area. They dont have aircon but its spring so weather still a bit tolerable.

We were very close to Fuji Station & that makes a huge difference. Not only that but we get access to the free shuttle from hotel to five other popular destinations like Fuji Q Highlands. During my trip I was focus on getting good pics of Mt Fuji but the best came from Fuji Station itself on the 6th floor. The other good spots had clouds hiding mt Fuji. All in all the staff were really good. Breakfast was good too. Plus after 10pm you can’t nothing. Will return to this wonderful hotel again. Thanks.

Perfect location. Pity Mount Fuji was covered by cloud as it rained throughout our stay. Room was fairly bare but did have everything you need, bar the aircon, which was just heat or fan and seemed to blow hot either way. So we just opened the window a touch. Breakfast was, again, Japanese heavy, but to be expected. Staff, as usual throughout Japan, were lovely.

I didn't rate the breakfast as I didn't partake on it so I cannot leave a review on it. The place was convenient and was easy to get to. Check in was easy and staff were very accommodating. My knowledge with the Japanese language was close to none but the staff were able to speak English well enough. The room was clean however there is an odd smell due to the age of the room. It is not a bad smell at all but it does smell the room was well aged. The aircon also doesn't cool enough that it gets quiet heated if the season is warm. I give it a 4 stars as the inconvenience weren't deal breakers and the price were also reasonable to what amenities was provided. The room was more spacious than what I stayed at in the Tokyo or Osaka for less price. The toilet/bathroom has a bidet, bath tub, hot water, toothbrush, and more basic toiletries. I definitely would stay again when visiting Mt Fuji. Transportation wise - it is a 5-10 minute bus ride to Kawaguchiko Station. Very Convenient.

This is a great hotel near the Mt Fuji train station, their included breakfast was our favourite of our entire Japan trip. My only note would be that it was a little disappointing they were unable to accommodate luggage storage overnight for us as we climbed Mt Fuji for one night and the train station nearby doesn’t have a lot of large lockers so it left us scrambling on our holiday to figure that out. Additionally, this area feels more residential and the more touristy area is near Kawaguchiko train station.
