Very close to Gora Station! It's a charming green hotel. While dinner add-ons are available, even without them, they still offer sweets and free-flow drinks in the public space for free!! The public area was neat, clean, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel features a relaxing foot onsen right in the middle of the property!

Great location, quick walk to the train station. Enjoyed the free snacks & drinks after 7pm social & the garden outside was so beautiful. Breakfast buffet was very good. I only wish I had more time to spend in Hakone. Loved it. Massage therapists did a great job as well.

This was hands down the best stay we had during our Japan trip! The staff was so lovely, professional, and accommodating. We got there early in the day and were able to store our luggage while we toured Hakone prior to check-in. The entire property oozes peace and luxury. Our room was so comfortable. We took advantage of half-board and the meals and service were exceptional. Hakone doesn’t have many options for food, so this actually seemed to make the most sense to us and I’m so glad we did it! My partner and I both took advantage of the spa - massages and facials - and it was so relaxing and high quality. The onsens were nice, but having easy access to private onsens was top-notch. I cannot recommend this incredible hotel enough!

I liked the location and the public spaces. The half board was disappointing- basically a buffet with a small add on. The mountain view described for my room was a courtyard and the pictures of the private onsen did not match the reality. My stay was just fine but it did not meet the expectations set by the descriptions online.

Dinner buffet is great and lots of options. The breakfast buffet is good.
The property looks a bit old and overrated for the price. I stayed in a condominium (A) and I found the bed to be very uncomfortable and as a matter of fact terrible. The lighting in the room is not great.
The property is about 2-3 minutes walk from the station but there is nothing to do in the area.

The hotel is very nice and the satff very helpful. It has stairs that you have to use to use to connect from on e tower to the other. The onsen is basic, it has only one pool and all the ammenities are in another floor ( it does. not male any sense)
We have sent our luggage and it was perfect!

This is the best hotel I stayed at during my Tokyo-Yokohama-Hakone trip. The largest room, great breakfast buffet, polite staff, great amenities, especially the baths and lounge area. Tucked away from the busy city, much more calm and serene. A very short walk to the train station to get everywhere else. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, easy flat walk from both Gora and Chokokunomori stations. Great amenities with complementary drinks, snacks and other things. Lovely shared spaces to enjoy and the room size was large by Japan's standards. The hotel is older and this shows a little in some areas but very clean and overall it was a very comfortable stay.

We had an amazing stay and our only regret was that we only stayed one night. Our room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom new and efficient. The overall properties and amenities were well above what we had expected. Stay at least 2 nights and enjoy both a wonderful property and beautiful area.

Close to Gora station.
We stayed in the Condo, so it was a separate building to go to the Onsen & lobby/lounge area.
We enjoyed evening snack and sweets.
We couldn't change the room temperature and asked for help from the hotel and came to find out the temperature couldn't be changed so the room was too warm to sleep comfortably.
Over all, we enjoyed our stay.
