Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA

Great location, good sized

We recently stayed at Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s biggest strength is definitely its unbeatable location. Being directly connected to LINKS Umeda, Osaka Station, shopping malls, restaurants, and convenience stores made our stay extremely convenient, especially traveling with family and a young child. We could easily shop, dine, and access transportation without needing to go far. The service was also excellent — staff were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout our stay. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and very comfortable. We booked the Quad Room for 3 adults and 1 child and found the room spacious enough by Japan standards, especially compared to many other hotels in Osaka. One downside for our family was that the beds could not be combined into a larger bed. Since our 5-year-old still does not sleep independently, sharing one bed felt a bit cramped. This is something families with young children may want to consider when booking. Although the hotel does not have a public bath/onsen, the convenience of the location, the amenities, and the overall comfort definitely made up for it. We truly enjoyed our stay and can absolutely see ourselves staying at Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka again on future trips to Osaka.

We stayed at Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA for 1 night and had such a great experience. The room wasn’t huge, our group of 3 fit very comfortably even with our luggage open. Everything felt very clean, fresh, and modern, especially the bathroom and the whole room had a really new and well-maintained feel to it. The hotel amenities were excellent. They provided slippers and sleeping attire, and there were also free amenities available in the reception area such as toothbrushes, along with coffee and tea. The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, there were so many options, including vegetarian-friendly choices. We left breakfast feeling very satisfied. The location is incredibly convenient. It’s only a very short walk to the station, which made getting around Osaka super easy. It’s also close to shopping, restaurants, and even within walking distance of Umeda Sky Building. The area outside can get busy during peak hours, but it was still very manageable. We even walked to the station with all our luggage during a busy period and had no issues. The view from our room was also quite nice. Check-in and check-out were both self-service, fast and easy, but there were always plenty of staff nearby ready to help if needed, which made the process feel very smooth and welcoming. Luggage storage was also simple and convenient, you just provide your email. Overall, this was an extremely comfortable and convenient stay, definitely would come back again.

Hotel felt like a 5 star resort.

Everything was wonderful about this hotel - except the two elevators you need to use to get to and from your room. It was very clean, the gym is nice, there's filtered water and ice just down the hall, great baggage transport, and close to the train station. The room is very small, but I understand that that's pretty common in Japan. Would definitely stay here again!

Very large and "industrialized" hotel. This is not a luxury hotel in my opinion, feels more like an Aiport than a hotel (the lobby was always very crowded with people coming in and out. Feels like a massive operation). Room was VERY small (even for Japan standards) and we felt the overall stay was more expensive than it was worth. Location is very good in an active part of OSAKA. Osaka station is walking distance.

Lovely clean room with a nice view. Spacious for city centre

The place was nice, but the stools in the bathrooms were so dirty and disgusting. The staff was helpful and very nice. The room the nice but not storage and no bathroom door. Not place to store suitcases. No hooks to hang our towels. I would stay here again, but that’s after looking at some place better first.

Modern, well equipped hotel. Very comfortable and well maintained. Excellent location close by stations, shops, restaurants and amenities.

Hankyu Respire is a nice hotel, conveniently located within the Osaka Train Station. The hotel is clean. Rooms are smaller compared to US hotels. The hotel provides all the basic amenities, including slippers and pajamas. The staff is helpful. They also provide baggage forwarding service to the next destination, if one does not want to carry their luggage with them.
