Excellent stay. Location is perfect. Just a few minutes from Jiyugaoka station. It was absolutely wonderful staying in this area of Tokyo.
While the room was small, it was very clean and had everything you need. Staff here are extremely kind and helpful.
Free coffee in the lobby. Elevator available for use.
Two negatives:
1. Despite asking several times, we had some issues with the A/C. It would randomly shut off during the night and seemed to be on a timer despite a tech setting the timer off. Not a huge issue as it wasn’t very hot during our visit but was kind of annoying.
2. The carpet in the room is very much due to a replacement.

We love this boutique-ish hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was a good size, the bathroom was big and interesting. It was also super close to the train station, groceries, boutiques, and the most amazing Pizza17. Loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Pulitzer Jiyugaoka Tokyo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The location is absolutely perfect — set in a lovely neighbourhood with plenty of charming cafés and places to explore right on the doorstep. It’s also just a short, easy walk to the railway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Tokyo.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and it was a real bonus that they spoke excellent English, which made everything effortless.
Our room was impressively spacious for Tokyo and had all the amenities you’d expect, making it very comfortable and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.
Overall, a brilliant hotel in a great location — we would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel before and was pleased with the room size. However, on this trip we were given a very small room which made it difficult to move around. Very uncomfortable and made my stay miserable.
We informed a staff member about the room size and she didn’t try to accommodate us with a larger room. We were even willing to pay in addition charge she was just not willing to help. I know there were larger rooms available. We noticed two rooms by our rooms with doors opened for several days that were vacant. This is definitely our last visit to this hotel.
