KOKO HOTEL Ginza 1chome

The hotel is located in the city center, close to several stations and also within walking distance from Tokyo Station. Because of the strategic location, so if you are tired in the middle of the day, you can rest at the hotel. In front of it, there is Sevel and a free tax store, and there are also many other minimarts around it. For itineraries outside Tokyo, like Kamakura or Kichijoji, the journey is about 1 hour. The room is not too small, worth it for solo travelers who want to explore Tokyo.

Super lovely stay, this was our second stay at this hotel, we stayed for 10 days and every day is perfect, cleanliness, location, services. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to Tokyo.

Perfect place for a solo traveler. The location of this hotel is perfection. You could still find quietness in the Ginza area. The interior is also brand new, which is great. They even have their own lounge on each floor. Will definitely go back here again!

In all honesty, if we're just talking about the rooms, Koko Hotel in Ginza 1-chome is maybe just a little above average. Like most Tokyo hotels, the rooms are small. Of note, both the double and standard twin rooms have the same area but the double bed leaves a smaller footprint so I recommend sticking with that instead to make room for your luggage. The lobby has all the amenities, a water and ice dispenser, and the front desk also lends other things. However, what made the difference was the service and hospitality. My family's stay was unfortunately cut short due to an accident. The concierge was quick to call an ambulance and assisted us the entire time in interpreting between us and the paramedics. When I informed the hotel of the need to cut our stay short to return home so my mother could get surgery ASAP, they agreed to refund the costs for the rest of our stay and made the entire process easy. They also left a note on both rooms to come by the front desk to get a refund for the accommodation tax that we had paid as well. A special mention needs to be said to Mr. Yonjan, who helped with all the translation during that night, and to Ms. O, who graciously helped us with refunds. Thank you for making what was a stressful situation at least a little bit easier on us. It was very much appreciated.
