The hotel is really close to Sugamo Station, only a 5-minute walk, and the staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly. For sure I will recommend it, and if I visit again, for sure I will stay at Smile Hotel Sugamo again. 🥰😘🤗

I stayed 3 nights very comfortably at this hotel. Staff extremely friendly, gentle space. The bedroom is not large but there is enough space to feel comfortable after a day of exploring Tokyo quite tired. The hotel is located in an alley close to the 4-meter exit of Sugamo and very close to the entrance of the JR gate, the lane has many attractive eateries but we haven't had a chance to try it all. Family mart right next. I will definitely come back if I go to Tokyo.

Location: Good (close to JR Sugamo, around 5 mins walk), 24 hrs Supermarket (Seiyu), 24 hrs Convenience stores in 1-2 mins walk Services: Good Facilities: Average (some facilities are dated) It is not my first time to stay at this hotel, and not the last time for sure. Will choose this hotel again when I am at Tokyo next time

One big downside of the room was that the air conditioning only blew hot air, and there wasn’t even an option to use just the fan without the heat.

I had a nice stay here. It’s in a nice location where I could quickly rent bicycles or walk to the subway. It’s near plenty of dining options as well. The staff were always ready to help. Water pressure was good too.

Very convenient location only a couple of blocks from the Yamanote line on a not that busy station. Very friendly staff. Offered complementary several bottles of water when arriving. Highly recommended. I’ll consider this place in the future for when I visit Tokyo again! Thanks!

Location is great. 24 hours reception service is great. They do room service cleaning once every 3 or 4 days for longer stays of 7 nights or more. Do not look under the bed, dust bunnies.

Right next to a FamilyMart convenience store and walking distance from Yamamote and Mita lines. Neighborhood is safe, but go early enough some days and you'll see lines outside pachinko machine buildings.

The wifi was really bad. I felt like I was being thettled for internet. Which was frustrating because the staff was very kind. I felt as though sitting in the room was a prison because all I could do was sleep. I am not going to return because we had one key and crappy internet.
