It was a great experience staying at this hotel, and definitely recommended! Good facilities, comfortable bed, quiet room, strong shower, selection of amenities, and most importantly, friendly staff! I did not have breakfast since I had plans elsewhere, but I would include breakfast next time if I have the chance to visit Osaka! Thank you for accommodating me!

Hotel bagus dan bersih, kamar luas, lokasi dekat stasiun, pelayanan bagus. Amenities-nya lengkap sekali dapat face wash, face cleaner, face lotion, mouth wash sampai dapat face mask☺️. Kami booking family room, kamar luas dengan bunk bed dan ruang tamu. Sangat recommended👍.

This was a great hotel, excellent staff and excellent amenities. Rooms are reasonably sized for Japan, good air conditioning (essential in late July), hot high pressure shower and OK sized fridge. They have tea, coffee and hot/cold water available most hours, a nice selection of standard and fruit teas. Breakfast is not a big buffet. There are 6 types of Japanese breakfast “sandwiches” from which you can choose 3 each day, plus you get fruit and granola. The usual coffee, tea, juice and others are also there.

Quelle magnifique expérience ! Le logement était impeccable et le souci du détail remarquable, jusqu’aux pyjamas mis à la disposition des clients. Le service est tout simplement exceptionnel, avec une foule d’attentions gratuites : cocktail et bière offerts chaque jour de 18 h à 19 h, puis les vendredis et samedis de 21 h à 22 h. J’ai aussi beaucoup apprécié la superbe terrasse sur le toit, accessible 24 heures sur 24, ainsi que le chaleureux lounge, parfait pour manger, se détendre ou travailler. Café, thé, matcha et tisanes y sont offerts gratuitement en tout temps. J’ai rarement séjourné dans un hôtel aussi généreux et accueillant. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour cette expérience mémorable !

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was amazing and the hotel was excellent. There is a restaurant, bar and even a DJ. It was very hip and trendy yet it felt very modern. It was close to restaurants, 711 and several train stations. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This was the nicest and most modern of the hotels we stayed at during our Japan trip. There were nightly socials with free beer and wine. The breakfast was delightful with a variety of options. They stock a wide variety of toiletries and skin care products by the check in desk on the second floor. I really appreciated the complimentary face masks after the dry plane air. I would happily stay at another Lively property.

Worked exactly for our 1 night needs for our group of 3! Booked the night before and was able to immediately check in at 10am the next day with a very helpful staff. Didn’t get to try the amenities but hotel was nice and clean and within a 10 min walk to the subway station.

The hotel itself was very stylish and there was free beer from 6-7pm plus a DJ during that time too. The rooms were nice and clean and modern. The shower was amazing - great water pressure but would've preferred the bathroom to be separate - there's a curtain between the bed and sink which helps for a bit of privacy. There's a few reasons I'm giving it a 4* and not a 5*: The check in was not great. After a long trip I don't expect to fill in a check in from myself. There was a lady overseeing the process and she mentioned the free beer and DJ but wasn't very welcoming and didn't mention all of the amenities (free coffee, laundromat, what's available at the restaurant etc). The location was excellent - lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood and close enough to umeda and namba. They gave us an option of jpy1000 or room service - we opted for the former. When we went to spend the jpy1000 one morning we were told the only thing we could purchase was the jpy2200 full breakfast which we didn't want. So we ended up gifting it to someone else. We appreciated that they had a laundromat but we found it very expensive - jpy800 for wash/clean. We stayed at other hotels in Japan where it was either free or very cheap (e.g. jpy200).

Our main disappointment was the breakfast. While the food was nicely presented, the menu lacked variety. If you're only staying for one or two nights, it's perfectly fine. However, for longer stays, the limited selection becomes repetitive. Breakfast included three pre-made slider options (breaded chicken breast, egg tempura, and smoked salmon), a ciabatta sandwich with your choice of filling (veggies or pork), a side salad with cocktail fruit, a cup of granola, two soup options (chicken with duck or pork), and beverages including coffee, tea, lemonade, iced tea, and apple juice. Although this may sound like a decent selection, the menu remained the same each day. After a few mornings, we found ourselves wishing for more variety. We also noticed that several guests left their meals unfinished, suggesting that others may have felt the same way. We traveled with our 8-year-old son and felt that the hotel caters more to adults than families. The Lively has a youthful, social atmosphere, with a daily happy hour offering complimentary beer and live DJs. It's well suited for younger travelers or those looking for a vibrant social scene, but families with young children may find that it lacks a family-oriented environment.

Really excellent stay. The whole hotel felt brand new and staff was very helpful and friendly. Only a couple of small things could improve 1) the breakfast is well cooked but with very limited choices and 2) pleeeeeease change the music in the reception/bar area. Maybe Im just too old but the music really made me wishing to be somewhere else
