THE NEST NAHA

Very disappointing experience at Nest Hotel Naha. During check-in, the front desk gave me the wrong room number, so I could not enter the room and had to return to the lobby to sort it out. The front desk staff were unable to communicate effectively in English and were not particularly helpful. When I needed to extend my stay for two more nights due to the approaching typhoon, they simply told me to check the rates online myself. When I asked if they could check room availability, they used Google Translate to tell me that if I could not book online, it meant the hotel was full and I should find another hotel. There was little effort to assist or show concern despite the typhoon situation. Also, room cleaning is only provided once every three days, which may not be suitable for all guests. Overall, the service was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

New. Clean. Very friendly staff, even for tourists with minimal Japanese (and don't mind using Google translate for conversations).

Clean room, welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, cool pool and amazing view. Situated in a nice part of the city. Very walkable to restaurants. Only negative was parking….

Room has a pretty view and the amenities are great! The outdoor pool is nice too but a little chilly so great after a hot day!

This an excellent hotel if you're sampling Okinawa. Just a quick monorail ride or 2 stop bus ride from the airport.Many places to eat near by. Rooftop pooland happy hour fantastic! Great breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable. 7Elecrn and Lawson right next door. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed my stay. I had high expectations after seeing the photos and it didn't disappoint. It's about a 10 min walk to Asahibashi Station (there are stairs fyi). It was super easy to get to/from the airport. This is a newer property so it was very clean and staff were friendly. The AC works great, beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure and the carpet is plush/did not feel dirty (as expected for a new hotel). I did not get to experience the actual pool but at sunset it looked very beautiful ~ there is a free drinks hour at 6-7 (wine/beer/juice). Breakfast buffet was okay/smaller selection but had a good variety. The other thing to note is they do not clean/go into your room every single day (I think they do every 3 days to be eco-friendly) but we saw lots of people leave their garbage bins outside and they quickly discarded it every day. They also leave new towels every day which was convenient. I had run out of box tissue one day and left the empty box outside and they gave me a new one once i returned in the evening. I recommend putting some hooks on the walls in the room& bathroom as there was no closet space. Also to put more microwaves or make a dedicated microwave room as there were many laundry rooms on different floors but only 1 microwave found. Additionally you can only wash AND dry .. you cannot dry clothes alone. Overall I'd still highly recommend staying here~

Great stay! Had everything I needed and was comfortable asking if anything was needed over all felt safe and would definitely be back!

Pool was amazing loved happy hour

Clean room , kind staff, great place outdoor pool with family.

I was pleasantly surprised with being provided with pajamas for our stay. Place was clean and well kept. Nice to offer cocktails for guest. The pool was amazing with amazing views. I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely clean room, feels newly renovated. Hotel as a whole feels like it should be a higher rating. Rooftop pool area also very nice. Would recommend and return anytime. In a convenient location from the airport.

Our stay was wonderful at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and we love how spacious the lobby and the rooms are. A lot of daily care items such as brushes, toothbrushes, and cotton swabs and tips were provided in the room and we enjoyed the pool almost daily.

I love the Nest Naha. Staff was great and check in was easy. Room was excellent, very clean, surprisingly big for a Japanese hotel and plenty of room to open your luggage. Hotel location is great. Lawsons is a few minutes walk and Kokusai-dori is about a 10 minutes walk for all your shopping and eateries. Getting to the hotel from Naha Airport via the monorail is easy. The station to get off at is Asashibashi Station which is about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Will definitely stay here again when I get the chance to travel back to Okinawa.
