This hotel is situated just outside of the main market area, however, still close enough to enjoy all that it has to offer. Walkable to the Menin Gate. Rooms are tidy and furnishings are up to date. This is my second visit to Ieper as well as this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night and were really pleased to have chosen the Novotel. Not sure if it has recently been refurbished or not but our room was in excellent condition, very clean and modern. Ideally located for local restaurants and of course the Menin Gate daily rememberance.

The Novotel is modern, spotlessly clean, and in a fabulous location - an easy walk to everything. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. Plenty of storage for two. Be sure to go to the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate; it’s every night at 8pm. Walking along the ramparts was lovely - a mostly flat, shaded trail that runs for more than a mile around much of the city.

The hotel is situated in a quiet side street so despite there being a fair in the central square, it was quite peaceful. The room could do with some decorating attention which made it look and feel a bit tatty. Nothing that really impacted on the stay. A shame to only have some cardboard cups to drink from in the room- quite wasteful. The biggest issue is the Indigo carpark under the hotel. I realise this is not owned by the hotel, but problems exiting the car park delayed us by fifteen minutes- the barrier wouldn’t open, the payment machine wouldn’t accept payment. Two other car drivers had the same problem. It’s clearly not a rare occurrence as reception told us they will just open the barrier… except they didn’t. Surely Novotel have some sway with Indigo to get this sorted reliably as it reflects quite poorly.

Very awkward for checking in and transporting luggage (no place to stop). No counter space in bathroom, and I didn't ask for an accessible room. Air conditioning very slow. In general I find that this French chain is not a good value.

My favourite city. The hotel is very well located in the city. I am a little surprised by the cost of the underground parking. Excessive, in my opinion.

The hotel has a fantastic location. Its good value for money and the rooms are well appointed. For vehicles, there's a public carpark just around the corner (Indego Neo) that has direct access to the hotel. Breakfast is €25 per person, so i wouldnt bother withthat and find a local cafe for less than half the price. But, would i stay here again? Absolutely.
