Good

Aircon was not very cold.

All are good except the buffet breakfast could have been more pleasant with better arrangements in terms of sitting area.

I like the location of the hotel is located inside the shopping mall, the hospitality of the staffs, elegant decorations, cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel & the facilities and toiletries provided.

Stayed here a few times mainly because of the location.The room is also spacious but this time round the safe box in my room wasn’t working. I would say.. the security/ bellhop service team were helpful and friendly. When one such staff saw us alighting from our car with shopping bags he quickly opened the door and helped us with the bags all the way till the lift, even held the door open ensuring we got in safety. Breakfast buffet restaurant always busy in the morning - the team was good but they seem overwhelmed at peak hours. The buffet area should be be expanded as it’s a bit narrow when there’s so many people. Overall it’s a good stay. Highly recommend.

It was a nice stay, overall it is value for money. At first glance the room is spacious and clean. The space is well lit, there is even a mirror in front of the table, so that basically serves as a dressing table + work desk. The room does not provide water, but a sanitised flask that you can fill water with at the corridor (+1 for eco-friendliness if you are into that). That said, there are some signs of some wear and tear - scratches/scuff marks on side tables, brown grime on the shampoo/soap bottles, ceiling wallpaper starting to peel, small dye stains (?) on the pillowcase and bedsheet (i.e. the sheets were not completely white - we did not alert housekeeping as we didn't think it was a major cause for concern). Late night we noticed mosquitos in the room and I was getting bites. Called room service for insect repellent/mosquito patch if they had one, but the housekeeping attendant arrived with a room spray (I read the bottle label). He didn't seem to understand what I needed but insisted that it's what I asked for. Gave it a few spritz anyway LOL and he took the bottle back Walls are thin. Could hear other guests kids screaming and shouting in the hallway early morning. Lobby was crowded during check-in and check-out. There was some waiting during check-in but check-out was very smooth. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful and prompt. Would recommend and return but prolly bring mosquito patches and request for quiet room haha :)

Convenienly located within Mid Valley Southkey Mall. Staff (Fahkul) at the business lounge kindly allowed us to dine there though we werent entitled to. Enjoyed the room with comfortable bed and spacious shower area. Lots of room of move ard even with big luggages and shopping bags.

Overall a good experience. The mall below was a big plus

Overall, interior looks simple and clean. However,exterior glasses not maintained as can see lots of algae, TV not HD and phone not working to call the reception/service desk.

Very convenient since the hotel is connected to the mall. Just a head’s up that check in time gets pretty hectic.

Beside the mall that is convenient. Request for connecting room with single beds, but given rubbish excuse that it is not available. Housekeeping cannot make it, bathroom not clean. Aircon is like not cold even at 18 degree

Room is spacious and acceptably clean. Awesome location which we all know.

Great place to stay.

The convenience is probably the only reason to stay here. The towels were stained and will be good to bring own towels. The toilets had basic amenities and were not as clean with stains on the walls and floor. Breakfast was disorganised and due to the crowd, food was not replenished in time. Would probably stay next time only if there is a need to stay at a hotel with connecting mall.

The hotel was near to Mid Valley SouthkEy Shopping Mall. other than that, nothing else. In fact, the cleanliness of the hotel as compared to the initial stage of their opening had a difference now. It isn’t as clean anymore. It also isn’t well maintained. The service of the hotel staff if can be rated, majority of them should be rated a 2/10. If you can wait for 5 hours just to receive an additional towel or bucket of ice, this is the hotel for you. Also, don’t bother calling the reception hotline, as we held onto the phone for more than 30 minutes but no one picks up the call, regardless the time of the day. We even have to resort going down to the reception area for help. Paid for an extra bed but they delivered a baby cot! Otherwise, if self service is possible, it is the best. The only saving grace is Ms Nurul from the hotel guest services front desk. She has been helpful.

Always enjoy our stay at St Giles Southkey

Great location for a shopping getaway as hotel is directly above Mid Valley Southkey mall. Great service from the staff who are helpful, friendly at front desk, breakfast, lounge and room/housekeeping. Room is clean and spacious. However, if you're staying at the rooms facing the river, there may be noise from the traffic at the expressway below. Room windows were a bit spotty which marred the views slightly. There were many green initiatives such as recyclable toiletries, water dispenser which replaced the plastic bottles, though I hope it could dispense faster. Breakfast buffet is nice and offers a wide selection. It can get quite crowded at peak periods but worth it as its included in the room price. Overall, a fabulous experience at St Giles and would definitely return again.

Everything was good. Reception staff were very efficient and thoughtful.
