Staff were really friendly and helpful, lovely family that run the hotel. Thoroughly recommend, the only reason i left was to get an apartment long term to live in Malta but the owners were so nice that anytime i pop pass through the area i will stop off and pop in to say hello and have a beer. Thanks very much for welcoming me with open arms, i promise i wont forget you guys. Your scottish friend, Greg

I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews of this place. I was a solo traveller and the room was very clean when I arrived. I had a kettle, microwave, stovetop burner, cutlery, dishes and everything I needed to cook my own meals if I wanted to. I also had 4 beds to myself when I was only expecting 2 and the room was much bigger than I had imagined. The television works great and the wifi sometimes loses connection but it is free so it is perfectly fine. The only two complaints I have are that the shower curtain was a bit moldy and the room is freezing at night because of the air conditioning. However, you don’t really touch the shower curtain when you shower so it is not a problem. They have hot water at night because I showered at night and the water was hot (previous reviews says they don’t but it’s false). They have extra blankets in the dresser if you get cold.
They sell adapters for €2 in case you forget one and they printed my boarding pass for me for free which was really nice. When I asked for more towels and soap they brought it immediately and they called the airport for me to request special assistance as I hurt my foot on the last day of my trip in a different location.
It is within walking distance of many bars and resteraunts as well as the Arznell bus stop (less than 2 minute walk) and the water! I would highly suggest staying here, it is a great deal for the price and the beds and pillows are comfortable. I would stay here again for sure!!!

Property was Okay, it’s not a morden building so don’t expect Morden things However it’s surrounded with all Amenities needed for a great stay,
Staff are great, I ask for an Iron & was ask do I need an Ironing board….
Very close to the beaches with a lovely walkway
I will recommend and would probably stay again

The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. The national aquarium is about three minutes walk away and there are various places to swim and do water sports basically on the doorstep. The swimming pool was a let down as it was basically an overly large tub on the roof of the hotel. There are numerous different types of restaurants and pubs close by and at least two supermarkets Iceland and Wellbees, if you wanted to cook in the room. Our room had a large fridge, a two ring hot plate crockery, pots and pans. The room was nothing fancy, but it could easily hold a large family as there was a front room with two single beds that could be put together or separated as needed, good size television and a dining table with chairs. There was a bedroom down the corridor with a large double bed and a single bed in it. Since we only really needed it to sleep it was more than adequate. The staff were all friendly. I loved watching the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening and this could easily be done by walking for just a few minutes.

I was there for a full month. Kitchen not supplied with enough tools to cook a good meal. Two burner plate positioned at half level of counter, so low I had to sit in a chair to cook. No grab bars in shower. Not a place I would ever return to or recommend for more than a few days stay. Staff were nice.

This is hard for me to write, as the staff were nice and extremely accommodating to special requests. However, let me review some key issues:
CONS
- they did not respond to the emails I sent via Expedia. Fortunately I found an alternate email on their website and they replied to that.
- I was told to get off at the wrong bus stop, which meant a 20-minute walk back in the heat carrying a heavy bag
- upon arrival to my room, no power as the neighbour had tripped to circuit
- furniture and appliances EXTREMELY outdated.
- bathroom dark and tub had a huge patch on it. Water kept leaking out onto the floor as the curtain doesnt extend full length
- left a wet bath mat on floor for cleaning. You would think housekeeping would replace with a dry one, but no, I returned to the same wet mat
- walls are paper thin
- neighbouring tenant had children that would run around the room and halls and scream at all times of day, including late night and early morning. I asked the hotel to address this, and they wouldn't. Another guest has commented as well. The noise level only got worse to the extent it affected my sleep.

Room was very big and spacious brekfast was cold but plenty to choose from our experience wasnt the greatest with ants on our table at breakfast and also òne of the beds was covered in ants which we believe came from the towels we received as we was on 4th floor the toilet did not flush the light switch was broken and curtains for balcony didnt close properly also the staff wasnt very polite as we was told to sush while she counted our money for payment also tv was a 2 pin plug and the socket was 3 pin was told to push a key in the top hole for it to work

It's basic if you are not looking for luxury but reasonable prices and basic accommodation which was spacious.
Near a lot of conviences supermarket bus station so was easy to get to.
Very nice friendly young gentleman checked us in works nights can't remember his name.
Says aircondition in the room and safe note that's at an extra charge. Iron in room at request means extra charge. Wifi did not work in 3rd floor apartment so l would start with the 2 hour one to check if it works first. We ended up sitting downstairs to use it. Breakfast is pretty basic and some of the flavours an aquired taste! Same thing everyday however is edible. No kettle in rooms and you have to buy drinking water everywhere in Malta.
So if not fussed about quality and luxury and more interested in sights it will do.

When we arrived windows in our room did not close properly Shower head broken and fans in room filthy my husband fixed all these things.
Supposed to be self catering no kettle plates or cutlery in rooms to we could hire a kettle. Breakfast same thing every day. Not a 3***hotel more like a hostel would not stay there again. MaltA itself is beautiful

Nice and clean with lots of space within the rooms, really cheap so much better than I thought it would be. Small issue with paint peeling on the ceiling, but once reported to reception was sorted out by the time I returned in the evening!!!
