Absolutely beautiful hotel squarely in the zócalo with solid views of the cathedral. And actual Aztec ruins in the basement.

Very nice stay for me and the family. We stayed during the first week of the World Cup. Breakfast was great and the staff always made sure we were taken care of. Loved the access to el zocalo and into the WC fan fest!

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff, room, and location made everything easy and enjoyable, and it turned a great trip into an amazing one.

Location is excellent. The only comment I have is for breakfast. Chef needs to be trained for hygiene . Touching cooked food with bare hands is not healthy . Breakfast Buffett can be prepared before guests arrive at 7:30.

Very good place to stay, It is inside Mexico city downtown, very convenient, good rooms very clean, It is a very good place for the travelers to stay and spend time. More over not expensive compared to 5 start, giving there facility on par with 5 Star Un lugar excelente para alojarse. Está situado en el centro de la Ciudad de México, lo que resulta muy práctico; las habitaciones son buenas y están muy limpias. Es un sitio magnífico para que los viajeros se hospeden y disfruten de su estancia. Además, no es costoso en comparación con los hoteles de 5 estrellas, a pesar de ofrecer instalaciones y servicios a la altura de esa categoría.

Helpful staff, relaxing clean room great location

All members of staff were enormously helpful and service-oriented, particularly Gerardo from luggage and all lobby and door personnel. Great location.

Great at all times and the best at it

Very clean, has AC, comfortable beds/pillows, good water pressure/hot/cold, free coffee & great location for historic district ! Did not try the breakfast - but from what I could see, was very elaborate ! Staff was very friendly. Room for some could to be on the "smaller" side - but we (2 of us) intentionally booked the smallest room on the property to save on $. Overall, highly recommend !

I liked that staff welcomed every guest, and the same employee that welcomed you, helped you find your room and get everything to your room. I didn’t have much luggage just a bookbag but im sure he would’ve helped me with all my luggage. Very respectful and friendly. Much recommended stay here at this hotel

Location was good but we arrived at wrong timing, teachers strike and Fifa world cup, so taxi can not get in front of hotel, even Uber can not get in the area. So we have to walk 15 min to get to the point where I can get taxi or Uber. Other than that great hotel.

The hotel was by a lot of really great places. And the staff was always so helpfulr

The hotel was very nice and clean, but our experience was very poor. There was a citywide protest occurring with thousands of teachers living in tents lining all of the streets and blocking all of the roadways. There is absolutely no access to the hotel by car presently. Expect to walk 10 to 30 minutes depending on where your taxi gets blocked by the road closures. There could be no access for some period of time going forward. The protest started more than a week ago and the hotel knew about this and knew that there was no access but they intentionally waited until past the period in which our booking was nonrefundable to inform us that it was not possible to get access to the hotel without walking with all our baggages. I have elderly parents and had to haul multiple suitcases 20-30 minutes walking town through tent cities trying to reach the hotel. Most of downtown roads are closed due to protest and FIFA preparations and the whole area is blocked by hundreds of polices. It was quite intimidating. The hotel was fully aware of this as the protest has been going on for over a week. Had they informed me, I would have been able to get other accommodations that would work for my senior parents.

This hotel had all of the potential to be the perfect end to our trip, but unfortunately protests during our stay made it hard to enjoy everything around the hotel. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel but important to note because from what I can tell, this may be a recurring issue, so it should be considered. Pros: *Central location right next to the Cathedral, El Templo Mayor Museum & Zocalo, and a short walk to many other attractions and shopping *Snacks and cold drinks in the mini fridge as well as a coffee maker in the room that are hard to come by in hotels today *Queen sized beds *Terrace on each floor to enjoy the views of the cathedral *Interior rooms didn't have the most amazing view, but better than expected *Cool interior with glass floor over the ruins *Free breakfast and drinks because of the challenging circumstances and they have the best bread and butter Cons: *We had to walk about 15 minutes through what felt like an opening scene in "Man on Fire" to get to the hotel: packed streets with people, vendors, protestor tents, and us (Husband, and 2 teenage kids) rolling 5 suitcases. I'm not sure many folks could hack this. *Loud noise and partying in the next room which wasn't addressed by the hotel, even after I tool the elevator down at 12 am to complain (couldn't call from room)
