Relax Hotel Kenitra

Please see other review for explanation of what was not good about hotel in general. But for this specific stay, the date was booked incorrectly. I immediately changed the reservation and informed Relax hotel of the situation via a phone call. Relax told me over the phone that I would be able to receive a refund if I spoke to reception about it in person at check in. But then they refused this upon checking in. Awful stay on top of everything else.

I try to avoid leaving negative reviews. But this stay needs to be addressed…everything was awful. To start off, I called days in advance and asked to confirm that check-in was at 12:30pm. Upon arrival at 12:30pm, I was told that check-in wasn’t until 3pm and maybe my room would be ready by 3pm. It was finally ready at 2pm. In the meantime, I ordered tea at 1pm; and it wasn’t even ready until 2pm, brought to the room when I no longer wanted it. The room was not the cleanest, there were only 4 channels on TV, no availability of casting to the tv, and tons of loud sounds both above and outside the room. Above the room sounded like someone slamming a chair on the floor repeatedly, and outside sounded like a loud argument. I had to leave early, and paid for the tea upon leaving, but two days later received a message on WhatsApp from the hotel saying there was an outstanding balance for the tea. The person who messaged me tried to argue saying I didn’t pay for the tea, but finally accepted that I had already paid for the tea in cash. Awful experience. Do not recommend due to false advertisement of check-in time, poor customer service, slow restaurant service, unclean rooms, loud noises, false advertisement of ample tv options, and finally, the pictures make the hotel look much nicer than it actually is.

The check-in was great, reception staff make you feel at home, perfect customer service , great smile and information. But after, rooms are not so welcoming they need to be checked by the management and fixed, a lot of things, everything are very updated, and not so clean, I has been a guest at this hotel, and many others relax hotels for years, and I had seen it’s good, great and bad management like now , management and where need to be on top of the premise, have a hotel it is not only the building structure maintenance it is a huge factor in the comfort and happiness of the quests, and full-fill the price we pay for night. And don’t make us think to look for another place to stay next time, breakfast included was a plus, but restaurant staff not so great they need more training. I hope one day this hope will be match the quality with the price.

A very relaxing and pleasant stay and great location in kenitra Very nice decor to the lobby area Very clean and immaculate rooms with comfortable bed and pillows and a piping hot shower A bonus is coffee and tea in the room and refrigerator The only thing missing is no hair dryer in the rooms and not many european channels on the tv Also the wifi was at best intermittent The breakfast is very generous and delicious with an assortment of salads eggs croissants and pastries excellent coffee (only the mint tea and the soup needed to be hot) The pool area is very quiet with a beautiful garden ( and even better a friendly cat to greet you)nice jazz music in the background The pool was little cold ( as it was winter) only the birds can take a bath sorry! Despite the minor shortcomings I highly recommend this hotel for any stay in the kenitra area

Hotel was in a shopping center so had plenty of parking. Rooms were extremely nice. Staff was really great and spoke multiple languages. Youssra and the other women in the restaurant were very kind. Breakfast was free even though the Expedia listing didn’t say it is free. Great food. Overall 10/10

Great stay, our stay this time was an amazing experience, starting by Nehza at the front desk she was very helpful. The restaurant staff very nice...the director is amazing always greeting and very attractive to the hotel guests needs...in general all staff were very helpful.

We are returning guest to the hotel and we were disappointed with the hotel before, but we need to travel to Kenitra and the hotel is the only hotel near to where we has to be.... The check in went well the lady at the reception were great and very welcoming her name is Abir, in the room we were surprised again everything clean and in order, a welcome serving of snacks and water were on the room for us, but after 8 pm everything start to go wrong, no TV channels were working, no hot water in the room, the phone line didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work only the heater in a very hot weather of Kenitra, so we went to the front desk to talk to them to find out that they were awera and they were trying to fix the problems, but the air conditioning system was set up only for heater no air conditioning will be available until the month of May.... So ridiculous.. Every customer is not the same if the hotel advertising air conditioner howcthey will program it on their preferences... Not acceptable.. We also went to the restsu9, amazing servers very helpful and friendly the food were fairly good, you can notice that they are trying hard to please the customer..disappointed review will cotinue..

We had 3 nights at the Relax Hotel this time, and as I stated ain the previous review every was nice and clean at the check in but after a while in the room everything went wrong, we couldn't have air conditioning, because is programed to work in the month of May, at the check out the guy at the reception wants to charge me for all my stay and food that we ate in our stay, thanks god I was aware of it because I only supposed to pay the taxes of 3 nights around 66 dirhams...

Beds 🛌 mattress seems like old Soft and uncomfortable Might need replacing to new ones i think Otherwise hotel 🏨 is very good Nice location if you have car

There is no need to have a refrigerator and A/C in the room if they’re off when you’re not in your room. Housekeepers often let windows open, welcome mosquitoes.

I stsyed at this hotel many many times in the past two years and I always have some disappointments, and this time we were six days, five nights at this hotel and I had few problems from the first moment that we entered in the room, I hope the hotel management read my reviews and all the others unhappy customers that take time to write our disappointments here with the only purpose of our stays at the relax been more relaxing and less stressful. I want to thank to the few staff members that one way or the other make our stays good, and shame for the others that does not do theyy job correctly. I appointed to one of the staff that she tried to please us. that they should check the rooms before they said are ready for a new guest to come in, not to try to clean or fix all the problems there when the guest are inside the room, that is why every hotel have service clerk and supervisor..I will comeback to this hotel to give another try, but is we get another disappointment we won't comeback again. I hope this time they take very serious my review at this moment, To the hotel staff please do not wait until I am inside the room toread my reviews, take all the reviews accountable and try to fix all the mistakes, like. Room cleanness, TV service, Air conditioning works, bath towels and bedding are proper clean (white not gray color). This time we didn't wasted time to pay for breakfast based on previous experiences... take in consideration the hotel highly price.

We had stayed in this hotel many times in the past year due to family trips, and everytime we have something positive and something negative, I always said price is very high for the quality of service, but we comeback. This time almost everything was negative, starting for our room was awful, was the last room in the second floor hallway, when people smoke outside we had the smell inside, noisy..., plus the TV channels didn't work proper, and the worse the bed was not changed in long time and the bathroom was very dirty and room. Floors was not Clean either, the breakfast was awful, they changed the menu or the chef and we couldn't eat nothing that satisfied us, it was the worst stayed we had at this Relax. The only positive thing was the girl at the front desk noticed by my ID that my birthday was coming and hers was a day before mine, so we had a nice conversation about it.....i wish I can remember her name... As I said before we had been there many times and only two staff members remember us and greet us with a welcoming smile.. I will give another try to this hotel if they don't improve and make us feel welcome for the high that we paid for our stayed we will look for another hotel where to stay in our future trips to Kenitra..

Noisy we can hear road cars noise and nuisance I order 1bottle if water they bring 2 and the server was not happy to take it back so I took the 2 bottles and I pay for it Also they charge me tax on the room ??????
