Beach Hotel Swakopmund

All perfect but cold water in swimming pool. Heater not working.

We had a great room with a view of the ocean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and there is parking for the guests at no cost. The food and drinks at the restaurant were excellent. We highly recommend it; we will definitely come back. The location is also in the middle of town very close to the pier.

Great view from dining room - Staff was friendly, helpful, attentive. It was a bit further than expected to downtown.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The beach view room was really a very spacious apartment. The verandah was nice to sit on and relax. Bed and shower were great, wifi worked very well and staff was helpful when we couldn’t work out the various tv remotes. Martha, the receptionist was particularly kind, caring and efficient and made our stay very enjoyable. We also enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. Safe parking space was an added bonus.

We really enjoyed our beachfront apartment at Beach Hotel overlooking the water. It is not right on the beach but it had a nice view for the sunset. Extremely large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and waitstaff in restaurant were nice and efficient. Breakfast Food which was included was very good overall. For the price, an excellent choice.

My stay at Beach Hotel Swakopmund was one of the best hotels I've stayed at during all of my travels! From the staff at the front desk with exceptional professional and kind service, to the staff in the restaurant and definitely the room cleaning staff, I cannot say enough how comfortable, safe and welcomed I felt. My stay was absolutely fantastic! The food in the restaurant was fresh daily. My room was thoroughly cleaned daily and the front desk staff both day and night were always attentive to meet my daily needs and answer any questions I had. I will definitely be returning to stay in this hotel again! I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, cleanliness, safety, proximity to tourist excursions and the exceptional, kind and professional treatment you will receive from the staff. The room was lovely with great views from the balcony. The shower was not in the best of conditions, but it worked which was the main thing. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic. The one downside were the pillows - they were genuinely the most uncomfortable things any of us had ever put our heads on! We tried each pillow - hoping they'd be better than the others - but it was honestly like trying to sleep with our heads on bags of cement powder -they just had no softness or 'give' in them at all and after 2 days we had sore necks/shoulders. It's a shame, as the rest of the stay was great.

Fine room, friendly hotel.

The rooms, and rooftop pool lounge were not as nice as photos. Very small rooms and a bit rough. The biggest problem was security as our car was robbed while parked in hotels guarded "secure parking lot". While Management was very apologetic and refunded our room charge indicated this never happened before, we feel they need better security. When checking in we were told the gate is always closed and they monitored by front desk and guard but this was not the case. Lots of staff but indifferent service. If I could do it again, I would stay at strand hotel.

The location is great. Could hear the waves splashing against the coast. Excellent staff.

Great location, directly across the street from the beach. You could easily walk to the various restaurants in town. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The views from the room were amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer, honestly.

The room is always clean, and staffs are so kind. I had a very good stay.

The staff, especially Joedy the GM who was very engaging veryhelpful with questions and made excellent suggestions for places to visit or eat. The food was also top quality at the hotel as well snd thd msin donning area has cleat had investment as it was well presented.

The front reception crew, especially Ronaldo, were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. Hotel elevator is out of service and apparently will be for some time so we had to carry bags up separate flights of stairs. As it was quite cold when we visited, we did not try the rooftop pool, which is unheated. The included. Breakfast was a pretty good quality, but the servers were a little inattentive. The hotel location is nice for this town as you can easily walk up and down the promenade.

Had a great stay here! The room views were incredible— it can get quite windy next to the beach but the views definitely make up for it! Parking was easy and staff was very helpful! The food was so delicious at the restaurant which I cannot recommend enough!

Finding the hotel was easy, being a first-time visitor to Swakop. Secure parking at the hotel. Check-in quick and easy; unfortunately the lift had just broken down, but help was on hand for our luggage. Staff pleasant andd ready to assist with any query. Our room was great, with sea views and views of the city. Would not hesitate to stay at the Beach Hotel on next visit to Swakop, and it is highly recommended.
