Our stay at the Avanti was great. We were three girls in a room with singles. Beds were comfortable. Room was large and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient location to museum district, parks, market, and metro. Room overlooked the canal.

Really enjoyed my room with canal view, no noise from other rooms. Had to request a heater and a pad for the bed, sub standard mattress. Also had to request a bath tub rubber mat the shower setup was a little precarious. Decor not my favorite but overall enjoyed my stay, good value. Breakfast and many snacks available for purchase. Very close to museums. Very nice and helpful staff!! Thank you Avani!!

The hotel is conveniently located for reaching the major tourists spots. It's right on the canal, and our room had a lovely view. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel is very quiet. There were nice robes. The sandals were handy for me but were too small for my husband. The room temperature was easily controllable. On the negative side, the room lighting was very inadequate. Similarly, there were no drawers for unpacking into. There was a small space for hanging clothes and 2 (but only 2) hooks for jackets. Next to the beds, there were small end-tables, but those didn't have any drawers either. Essentially, this is a place where you have to live out of your suitcase.
