A well-established hostel with a friendly, welcoming vibe. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the option of a female-only dorm. Any extras beyond bedding come at added cost—can’t remember if this is common among hostels in general, as I haven’t stayed at one in over 10yrs; but it’s worth knowing to budget accordingly. The bed was comfortable and the blanket was the perfect thickness and weight. My room locker was spacious enough to hold my carry-on-sized suitcase, my standard-size backpack, and my lunch bag. The hostel is located close to Centraal Station; check-in and check-out was efficient, with staff close by to answer questions as needed.

Very clean room and facilities, friendly front desk staff. I stayed in the private women’s only section, it was nice and quiet to come home to after a long day. There is a lively bar and game room downstairs for those looking for company.

It has a great balance of little cozy nooks to relax in, lounges for small groups, spaces for families with kids as well as large groups, and little workspaces for those on business. There's also a turf-covered atrium for a little cardio or yoga. Its location - walkable from Amsterdam Central Station - makes it ideal for not just trips around the city, but also for short trips around the city, or for a transit in Amsterdam on your way to the rest of Europe.

I would like to know what are you basing the price on. Extremely expensive for a place that has ZERO to offer. The food was terrible, it only had 2 toilets for several people and one of the toilets was broken.
