We’re so happy for staying at Enter Amalie Hotel. It’s a nice clean hotel with friendly staff,excellent breakfast and waffle buffet at 5pm every day. This hotel is walking distance to our tour meeting points and museums in city center.Thanks to Abi one of the friendly check-in staff.

The hotel's location is good and centrally located. They offer all-day coffee and tea, and the waffles from 5-7 were good. However, the rooms are extremely small and housekeeping is poor. Breakfast was very disappointing-scrambled eggs contained bacon mixed in from the side tray. I informed the manager and requested separate dishes for eggs and bacon, but there was no alternative provided and hygiene was questionable. Even after raising the concern, we were told that this is how breakfast is. Overall, apart from the location and evening waffles, the experience was below average.

Really pleased with this hotel! Was in a great location, staff were lovely and friendly, everything was clean. Breakfast, waffles, cakes and hot chocolates were great! There was a drip from under the sink in my room which I did report but I presume that they were waiting for a plumber to fix as it wasn't sorted when I was still there. They even left chocolates in my room as I said I was staying for a special occasion.

I stayed for two nights and felt terrible, like I was in a hospital. If you have the financial means, then this is not the place for you. The breakfast was poor. In short, believe me, you don't need this hotel.

This was honestly one of the worst hotels around. For the price, pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Dirty, shower was awful, the bed smelt of the people before us. Check out is at 12, at 11:30 a man let himself into our room while we were getting dressed.

I had a terrible experience with Enter Amalie in Tromso. i have been staying with Enter properties for a while, and booked it since they carry a decent reputation, however, when i arrived, the room assigned to me was not made up and housekeeping was not done for the room. i had to drive to viking hotel to change my room, and the new room they gave me had people in them. Both they and we were terrified by this experience.
It took was 2 hours and 4 trips to finally get a decent room inside viking hotel at 2 am in the night.
This was the worst decision of our norway trip. Definitely not worth the pain!!

Comfortable and clean. It is possible to change temperature of rhe radiator. Hot water in the shower and tea jot water boiling possible in the room.
