Was there for my high school reunion and family outing. Check in was smooth, property was pristine with that old world charm we loved seeing. My kids’ favorite were the pools but mine was the beach! It was like being in an aquarium seeing marine life up close and one of the staff telling us about them. Breakfast buffet had good variety and great presentation. This is indeed a great resort!

The views, the beach, and the atmosphere are truly excellent. The echo from the people playing in the pool is loud, even to the 7th floor balcony level—that is basically the only complaint we have. Wonderful art, helpful staff, and great food. 100% would stay again.

We had a great experience at Costabella. Definitely a bang for your buck! It is slightly outdated but the facilities and surroundings are well-maintained and clean. Would have been more awesome if they can fix the boardwalk. They have warm and courteous staff as well. Food is on the pricier side but great overall. The experience is very good overall.

Hotel did not have the room reserved when we got there (two beds rather than the requested/booked one king size bed) + that room was simply not clean. They managed to change us the next day -this time a much better (bigger and much softer) bed + the room was better situated and cleaner

My room with balcony was in the older block and although big, clean and aircon good, the room and bathroom needs updating. Looks and feels unwelcoming. In contrast, the restaurant is excellent, good food, reasonable prices and good atmosphere.

Horrible reception and unsafe stairs, my wife slid on the property and there was no action whatsoever i had to do everything by myself and kept on following up with doctor who came 6 hours later
Sheet not changed only flipped upside down a mark was done by my daughter next to the pillow next day was next to my feet

Clean but very old resort. Very over priced for what you get. Charged me way over on bottled water. Cost me 2500 peso for 9 bottles of water. Said not to drink there water and only bottled water and charged way to much.

This was a beautiful resort with a friendly team of people working there. They helped with so many questions that we had. The food here was delicious. Would recommend it with families as the pool and beach was great entertainment for our son.

I always love my visits to Costabella resort. I've stayed their probably 6 different times. Always the same consistant amazing vacation. Food is amazing, but above all the staff is beyond amazingly kind and caring.

The property itself is okay but using the amenities you had to pay extra , from the moment we arrived from checking in my guest which is my family are not allowed to go inside our rooms , so I had to say to the staff where should I give my pasalubong to my family in the lobby , second only registered guest are allowed to used the amenities , gust of the registered guest need to pay 1800 pesos if they use the pool and 1300 pesos if swimming on the beach , I was shocked so I told the staff your more expensive that Shangrila and JPark and Sheraton .. but staff reply it’s hotel rules and policy … been too many place but I’ve never experienced a hotel like this … service are worst that my own experience …

The rooms were clean, but a little dated. We had to change rooms as the first room they assigned us smelled of mildew. It’s a decent value for the age of the hotel. The staff were not consistently helpful or attentive. They frequently seemed bothered when we asked them to do anything. Quite odd. The space was rented out on the weekend for big parties forcing us to share the pool area and beach area with many others. If you’re interested in a better cost and larger pool, I encourage you visiting them hotel next-door—the Tambuli Beach Resort.

An amazing modern hotel, but built in a traditional style. The staff were all super helpful. The food is nice with two separate restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel is kept clean. The on-site spa (with massage) and the two swimming pool are all brilliant.
