Beautiful Villas on the hillside of Corong-Corong Beach (a bit of a hike up a steep driveway but nothing one of the tricycles or scooters cant get up). I stayed in Joglo 1 which was a beautifully decorated and themed room overlooking the hills and ocean. Its a large room, well working AC, beautiful balcony and over all an amazing place to stay that I would love to visit again.
The staff were amazing, extremely knowledgeable and helpful and assisted in whatever way they could. A brief but detailed welcome and tour of the room gave me all the information i needed to be comfortable.

Don’t judge a place by its reception area! Karuna ended up being one of our absolute favorite honeymoon stays. We had a slight check-in mix-up (we were given villa J1 instead of the higher J2 we booked via Expedia), but J1 was still beautiful with a gorgeous view.
The room was spacious and well-laid out. Because of the open, tropical bathroom design, you might get visits from harmless little frogs or lizards. We actually befriended a tiny frog on our shower floor! If you’re squeamish, the staff will happily come remove them for you.
The amenities are top-notch. The infinity pool offers spectacular views, and their WhatsApp messaging system made communication seamless.
Don't skip the onsite restaurant—they serve some of the best pizza we've ever had in the Philippines, and room service is free! Just make sure you ask what the wait time will be for room service as sometimes it was 15 minutes and other times it was over 1 hour wait. Breakfast was included and freshly made to order which was amazing every morning.
Location-wise, it's a peaceful retreat outside downtown. They offer a free scheduled shuttle to town, or they’ll drive you to the base of the hill to grab a local trike.
Pro-Tip: For a change of scenery, take the shuttle to the bottom of the hill and walk to Sunset Lion Restaurant for an amazing dinner view.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Staff and service were amazing. Incredibly responsive. Pool and restaurant were wonderful. We spent much time there. We enjoyed the free shuttle into town. breakfast was delicious and they brought to our room and balcony for no charge. Our villa was amazing however we did have trouble with the air conditioning. The villa is an Indonesian style so we are not clear if the design does not allow for proper cooling (bathroom is outdoors) or if it was a faulty aircon. Staff tried daily to make us more comfortable and brought in several fans. The location is a bit away from el nido town and up a steep hill. This allowed for beautiful stunning views and sunsets but required a ride up and down the hill. This was our favourite hotel and all things in, we would stay here again.

What a wonderful stay we had in the Jaglo 1 Villa. From the check-in to the checkout, everything was absolutely wonderful. The Philippines spirit of hospitality is very apparent and the staff goes out of their way to make their guests very happy.
I would highly recommend staying here for anybody visiting El Nido. Be aware it is on a mountain side so very hilly. If you cannot walk comfortably up hills and down hills, you will struggle to stay at this property.

Everything about our stay was amazing. We stayed in Joglo 2, a beautiful unique villa with a wrap around porch overlooking the ocean. The villas are perched on a hill with spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. You could also catch the beautiful sunsets from the infinity pool and the restaurant. The restaurant was wonderful with many choices. The staff was very attentive (Wilma and Jade in particular). We also had wonderful massages at the spa. In short we loved it !

Beautiful place to stay, amazing view of the sunset, especially from the restaurant and the pool. The staff was very helpful. The room very clean and spacious. The only less nice thing is that the bathroom is outdoors so lots of bugs and reptiles got in the bathroom and sometimes the room (we found a frog inside).

We loved our stay - great staff, attentive and the complimentary shuttle was a nice touch. The only thing they should work on is the massage service. The AC was blasting, when you are butt naked getting a massage you want the room to be a nice temperature. Other than that, a 10 out of 10. We loved the geckos and their sounds!

Studio room was great - clean, comfortable, with great views. They really have done a good renovation. Staff were very helpful, they were really trying. Restaurant was a bit expensive, and food was ok. The provision of the hourly shuttle into El Nido really makes this resort work, otherwise you are isolated up a hill.

I can't say anything bad about Karuna El Nido Villas. They cater to relaxation. Beautiful infinity pool, excellent massages, great food, and excellent single loungers and double canopy loungers around the pool. Most importantly was the staff attitude. They were extremely professional and flexible. They were fun, cheery, and naturally interacted with guests gracefully. They were so sweet to say the least. You can't ask for better treatment. I would not hesitate to return in the future.

The view and staff 10/10. Amazing view from room and pool. Unfortunately was my room close to the road below and the noise made it hard to sleep.
I wish that it should be informed when booking the room that it’s close to the road. Their was no possibility to change the room. Staff was excellent, super nice and service minded.
Poor choices for breakfast.
I had pre-booked a hotel pick up and informed my flight details. Unfortunately was my flight delayed.
The hotel didn’t check the arrival and the car waited 1 hour and left. The hotel charged me for the pick up anyway…

We are a family of 4, we stayed at Studio 3 for 3 days. From pickup on day 1 to end of our stay, we were treated so well....the staff were so attentive, courteous, and professional! Big thank you to the restaurant staff led by manager Raymond, the sweet ladies Wilma, Jane, Cyra took care of us to make sure our dining experience was flawless. Food was delicious and very pretty presentation! Ellen at front reception was charming and professional. Thank you also to drivers who made sure we were picked up and dropped off on time at airport.
The resort is exceptional and stunning, the view is breathtaking, the attention to detail in the studio and resort is impeccable to ensure aesthetically has the Bali inspired theme is there and guests are pampered and comfortable. I will recommend to my friends and family and would come back in heartbeat!
