• For Non-Quarantine Guests (Business-related reservations), kindly present your appointment proof and company ID upon arrival. • Only fully-vaccinated individuals are allowed to check-in, provided that the vaccination cards will be presented upon check-in. o Minors ages six (6) up to seventeen (17) years old must present a negative RT-PCR (nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal) Result, taken not more than 48 hours for those who are unvaccinated. Vaccinated Minors may present their vaccination card upon arrival. o Children ages five (5) years old and below who cannot be vaccinated are allowed to check-in, provided that their parents or accompanying guardians are fully-vaccinated. • Changes in guidelines will depend on the Government’s implementation of the Quarantine situation in NCR. • Cancellation made 7 days prior to check-in date is refundable. The pictures online DO NOT accurately represent the cleanliness or quality of the hotel. This hotel is very dayed and tired looking. The breakfast buffet is terrible, items do not get properly replenished, the selection is substandard, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. I do not recommend this hotel, even though the people seem to be very nice.

Looks great from the outside and as you enter reception . Staff are mostly friendly and courteous. Upstairs in the corridors and rooms the hotel is in a bit of a tired state and there are obviously major problems with the roof as there is widespread evidence of ongoing water damage . We stayed here twice - first time for 2 nights was fine but the second occasion , following an apparent upgrade , the room was worse and air con inoperative . Safes in the rooms do not work and you have to specifically request a working version to be brought to your room if you require one (Same story with the mini fridge ). We went to great trouble to organise their early takeaway breakfast as we had an early flight but it seemed to be forgotten about and we had to wait for 20 minutes for it to appear.. It has great potential but is definitely a work in progress…

Staff were courteous but hotel in general needs upgrading. There have been and continue to be water leaks throughout the hotel and there was a note in my room when I arrived in November advising that there were improvement works that have been taking place since August! Not only that, the safe was broken.. they brought in a new one which wasn’t then secured so also unfit for purpose.

I have stayed several places worldwide at all scales and levels and would put this in the average category. Its a 'palatial' type building but there are a lot of shortcomings, including arrival customer service i was asked to give my id and then just take a seat no welcome or anything else was said. I was then just sitting there for around 5mins. Secondly the bedroom was average condition the toilet did not work properly as it was not refilling, i called customer service and they sent a repair person they did the snake it just flushed out then but the issue continued i ended up refilling with the bidet hose each time. Lastly there was no selections for a vegetarian (no eggs,no fish) breakfast. They ended up customising something for me which was nice of them too which was noodles and veg, unfortunately it was prob cooked in a pan using fish and there was a taste of that within the noodles. I did not raise it though as they had gone out their way to make it in the first place.

This hotel is amazing. It is an old building but has history and character. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The area right outside the hotel is a bit sketchy but if you keep your wits about you then you should be fine. Also ocean park and the US embassy are both within very easy walking distance even in the Manila heat.

Overall it was a great hotel, incredible staff and service. Room was good with efficient AC and comfortable nice bedding. The breakfast was very nice and the Chinese restaurant in hotel was good. Overall it was still a great stay especially for the price. I would definitely stay again! (I visited 2 other hotels during my stay for work events and this was by far best value for money and location.) Only real issue was they were having water issues and doing construction during this time, so water went out one day and lot of water leaks on marble floors each day, but they were trying to stay on top of it, they provided notice of the issue.
