The hotel staff was so kind and friendly to us. We arrived very early, but they were kind enough to be able to let us check in early, which made our lives a lot easier. They gave us loads of information about coimbra and the different things to see and different restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good

The staff were very welcoming on arrival. The room was nice but the shower leaked when in use. We just put towels down to absorb and keep things dry. We could not get the system to heat pur room as my husband was chilled. We even googled how to use the remote and no success.
The breakfast was delicious and the dining room well set up.
The terrace area was anice touch. We arrived during rain so we were only able to check it out the next morning before check out.
We would definitely recommend to stay at the Oslo.

The hotel is very well situated near the river but major road works made driving a bit tricky. The roof top bar has fabulous views and the restaurant served a really good breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

Very nice and convenient hotel. Free Parking right across the street very convenient. Area was nice but on the Main Street in coimbra. We took an uber to the university then walked back down. Staff were very pleasant and room was large and clean. Would def recommend as a great stop while visiting coimbra

Nice Hotel. Centrally located. Rooms were a bit small, but worked fine. The rooftop deck was really nice place to relax and view the city. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Ideal location. Great staff. Room was clean & comfortable. Roof top patio view was spectacular. Great breakfast. Our room rate included covered parking in a garage. Parking spaces were tight by N.American standards but normal for European standards.

Located in the Coimbra city centre, so its close to all attractions. The hotel itself is a bit rundown and dingy looking. Needs an upgrade. The rooftop view was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel requires a serious upgrade. It looks very decrepit and rundown. Overall, 3/5.

He had a great stay at Hotel Oslo. The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful! The room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was a nice addition and the rooftop was heaven!!! There was a lot of road construction nearby which made the area noisy, congested and a bit weary looking. It will be fabulous when this is complete.

Comfortable modern hotel in an excellent location for walking to the lower town. Nice rooftop bar and breakfast room. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly professional staff. Free parking in a garage across the street.

Not told the heat/air was set to heat until we asked at the front desk after the first uncomfortably hot night and found out it needed to be set to cool. Not something that was obvious on an unfamiliar, ceiling mounted unit.

The Oslo is located in a convenient location and the desk clerk was helpful and friendly. They did provide a parking garage across the street, at a cost of 7 euros per day. The parking was a little bit tight but adequate. The shower stall on the other hand was very tight and not adequate at all. It felt like we were staying in a dorm room. If you dropped the soap, the shower door would open when you bend over. They were stingy with the towels and there were really no amenities offered to the guests other than complimentary buffet breakfast, which was varied but nothing special. The Rooftop was one reason we chose this hotel but although the view was nice, it didn't really feel like a welcoming space, and unfortunately, the river view was on the other side of the building. The location is pretty good because you could walk up into the old town or the botanical gardens, and to many restaurants and cafes. We even were able to do some laundry at a laundromat across the street. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at in different cities in Portugal, the Oslo was not the worst, but maybe came in 5th out of 6, so I would not stay there again.
