This is my fourth visit here. Distance to Haram is very close. I felt the service was not as usual this time due to the rush of Ramadan. There restaurants were full and seating was sometimes not available, and tables and service not upto standard. I would not hesitate to stay here, but would advice to keep the usual standard even if the hotel is full.

Location is great, staff is great, facility is good.
Only areas they can improve on is the adding some noise reduction on the doors. The doors to the rooms has about 1/2" gap on the bottom and 1/8" around the other 3 sides. Which makes the rooms very noisy, as you can hear every time elevator door opens or someone is talking on the hallway, which could be middle of the night. They can put some insulation around the doors to make it more quieter for the guests.

We had a pleasant stay at Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana. The 2-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room for our group. The breakfast spread was also quite nice, with a variety of options to start the day.
However, one downside was the check-in process. We had to wait for about two hours after the check-in time because our room wasn’t ready yet, which was a bit frustrating. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we enjoyed our time at the hotel. Would consider staying here again, but I hope the check-in process is smoother next time.

We arrived around 4pm, they took our luggage and asked us to go do ommrah because the rooms are not ready , we left to do omrah and came back at 12am, we asked for our luggage the receptionist said he will send them to the room and never did. Next day they called us at 12 the we must check out by one. Around 2 we went to check out and asked for our luggage they took the card from us and said to relax they will bring them to us in few minutes, we waited more than an our and asked them again, they said they need a card otherwise we can’t get them , that’s when u started yelling and made it a big problem.. after a long argument and after I told them I will call the cops I ended up getting them back.. about the Kaaba view it was not what I was expecting and not like what I seen on Expedia, it wasn’t worth $800 per night but yes the rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable and one thing I forgot to mention was the food is you have to pay for your breakfast and your lunch.. some guy told us $50 per person

Everything was perfect had a suite and it was perfect with two bathrooms and a living area you have full access to shopping centre ladies prayer room on p10 and men’s p9 and exit to Al haram was 0 walking distance. The hotel has a perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner selection with a cafe, reception and all staff are so lovely and attend to your needs recommended 👍

Most staff speak minimal English. Organization somewhat poor and not at 5 star level. Some of the stuff in the rooms are quite old and worn out. When it says "partial Haram view" what they really mean is minimal view of the outer structure of the Masjid and more view of the other tall hotels or the building of the clock tower. The convenience of the hotel being right at the door of the Haram makes up for all it's shortcomings but it's sad why Swiss hotel or Fairmont or Pullman that are neither native nor Muslim should provide better view or quality than this hotel.
