Moxy Glasgow SEC

Jessica at the reception was very helpful. Initially we were booked into room 440 which did not have a table for our kettle. She was quickly able to move us to room 436 and able to check us in early. When we returned to our room after a nice day out we found that our room had not been attended to by WGC, the third party provider. It appeared that no one else on the floor had their room made up. We enjoyed the welcome complementary iced tea. At Moxy Bristol, we were provided with a wire mounting system since no closets were povided. We were disappointed that Moxy Glasgow SEC did not have the same. (I can provide a pic). The large bar/lobby area provided a relaxing area for socializing.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Was awesome the bar stayed open late to guests. Food was great. Would def sta here again!

We were given the wrong room twice. There aren't enough lifts so you have to wait. The mattress had blood stains on it. The breakfast buffet was not refilled quickly enough.

The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the Ovo Hydro Arena, about a 29-minute walk to the city center. It offers a pleasant sauna, and there are many restaurants and museums nearby. The hotel is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is adequate for this type of hotel, and it's very clean. The rooms are also clean. My only complaint was the sofa bed, which was impossible to sleep on. I removed the mattress and placed it on the floor; it was much better. The hotel also has a handicapped-accessible bathroom. If you take a shower, water will be everywhere, even under the toilet. Although we didn't actually spray water, the tiles simply don't slope enough to drain the water. I recommend asking for a mop. Despite these minor inconveniences, I recommend the hotel.

Had quiet comfortable stay

The room was spotless, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and a huge variety available. We stayed due to an event at Hydro and the location was perfect.

Such a good experience! The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the SEC and the west end. Really enjoyed our free welcome drink! Very grateful to the staff for letting us check in early.
