Had a wonderful stay, the evening was serene and the dinner I had was outstanding. Portion is not too stingy rather. And most importantly the staff were very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back again!

.<Service> I was very pleased with the consistent, genuine and prompt service rendered from the front desk, to the housekeeping team, technicians, fun team and many staffs behind the scene. I saw the fun team immediately rush to attend to a little girl on a kayak who looked as if she fainted but she actually fell asleep. Such attentiveness ensures guests felt safe. The technicians came and changed our lock promptly and were courteous throughout.<Efficient IT system> Even IT website was easy to use for requesting extra toiletries. Buffet Breakfast has huge variety and food came very fast. Internet connection was quite fast.<Facilities> There are also many activities to keep one engage that you won't find in other hotels in SG such as paddle boat, standing up paddle, kayaking, Table Tennis in the sand, badminton, beach soccer. Even my mum can do kayaking and it was love at first sight. Also, I saw the fun team immediately rush to attend to a little girl on a kayak who looked as if she fainted but she actually fell asleep. Such attentiveness ensure guests felt safe. I love the the private beach with many sun decks and quiet area for picnic and booking reading. This is truly a plus point. One night here is really never enough. You can just laze on your bed and watch sunrise and the sea view. When our food delivery order was cancelled, we are glad to have room dining which has good food and service. Getting around is easy because there is complimentary round trip shuttle bus to Vivo. Definitely recommend this hotel to people who wants to a have getaway from city or people with family. The earliest check in time is 12pm and no extension for late check out, subjected to availability.

Wonderful service by rasa sentosa Shangri-La resort. Can't believe we have such a door resort in our own country Singapore. Will definitely come again.

Got a lovely room with beautiful view. I check in on my birthday and they left a surprise cake in the fridge. Friendly staffs at reception and breakfast area. A wonderful experience to my first staycation.

While the property is a large property, I feel for the prices paid, the hotel was sub standard. It has been a lovely hotel in the past but is lacking in upgrades and maintenance.

Poor service, most staff at Silver Shells speak very little English, basic fittings, birds in restaurant, slow, poor A/C, cheap in- room dryer, kids allowed to run around buffet out of control. Aggressive monkeys. Ripoff

L'hôtel est très agréable. Nous y étions en couple et l'espace piscine pour adultes avec jacuzzi est un vrai plus (car il y a beaucoup de famille avec enfants) ainsi que le lounge uniquement pour les adultes, pour prendre un petit-déjeuner en toute tranquillité.
J'avais un espoir que la plage soit un peu jolie. Hélas, elle est grise et sale...

Really nice resort if travelling with children. Just very expensive we found especially if choosing to have lunch/dinner where we found it to be extortionate amounts of pay. Very limited halal option although they did have a small section for halal food, we found it to be very repetetive each day. Difficult with child. They did offer to make dishes of choice which helped. Helpful staff, overall very clean and nice pool etc.

All the staff were wonderful, made for a great experience. Kids friendly environment. Whilst i don't know the names of all i do remember the names of uncle Sim, Redzuan, Eddie and Zasem who were brilliant.

Excellent facilities for children, and perfect location on the beach. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help.
Would have been nice to have had another restaurant within the property as a choice other than the buffet when there was a storm, to save going outside in the rain to get to Trapizza (which served excellent food).
Food choice around the pool and room service was excellent.
We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return in he future!

Not Worth the Hype
I had high expectations for Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore, but unfortunately, my stay was far from enjoyable.
We arranged for an airport pickup, but the driver showed up 20 minutes late. Tired of waiting, we took a taxi instead. Upon arrival, the room was just okay—not memorable, but not terrible either.
The real letdown was the buffet. The food was cold, unappetizing, and service was almost non-existent. Our server never even came by to offer water. When we needed assistance from the concierge, she was on break, then on lunch, and eventually left early—completely unavailable when we needed her.
On our departure day, the taxi we booked never arrived. Apparently, drivers don't like to come to the island, which made leaving even more stressful. As for the facilities, the beach was underwhelming and the pool had plastic cups floating in it—definitely not the luxury experience I was expecting.
In summary, this place is a hard pass for me. It lacked hospitality, cleanliness, and basic service standards

We travelled with kids and had an amazing time at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. I would definitely be going there again. Super safe, friendly staff and kids had a wonderful time with different activities through out the day.
