Meksiko Hotel

It was an absolutely horrible experience and i checked out the same afternoon I arrived that morning. The staff were rude and I felt like an inconvenience from the get go. Expedia tried to contact them with questions I had ahead of time and no response. When I got there they claimed that they do not receive messages from Expedia and that one has to contact them directly. Then why are they on Expedia and they sent an initial welcome message through Expedia? The room was dirty and I took pictures. Curtains were stained. Blood stain on one bed and another stain and hair on the other bed. Bathroom was not clean. Hair on areas of the floor and gunk on sink counter. I had to clean the bathroom with my own anti bacterial wipes I brought. When I called the reception, Amir (the only nice one) came up with the cleaning crew to check the room. The cleaning lady got mad and was “going off” and and angrily speaking in another language. Amir and the other cleaning lady (not the angry one) helped change the bed. I did not feel comfortable or safe. I called Expedia to change and book a different hotel. Expedia tried to call Meksiko while I was there and no one answered. Meksiko claimed that Expedia did not try and call them and implied that Expedia was not being honest about trying to reach them. When I was checking out of Meksiko two new ladies had arrived. They would not even tell me their names and they ended up being rude as well. Their online pics are not accurate of what is.

Staff were very helpful , but rooms were cold , no extra bedding , shower leaked and there were ants , breakfast wasnt great , but on good side it was close to main centre

Breakfast was basic but overall good. Front desk staff were great! When arrived I got a smaller room than I reserved and the front desk attendants made it right. Location was good. Hotel was clean and easy to find.

Stayed in a large room with plenty of storage. Hotel 10ins walk into town but also near a good Bosnian restaurant which is well worth a try.

Everything was great except for toilet.

Next to the hospital, can hear the ambulances. The sound proof is poor, can clearly hear the next room guests talking and sneezing.

The hotel was suitable for what we needed it for; a clean hotel reasonably close to the bus station before travelling to the airport early the next morning. However I'm glad we weren’t staying there for more than one night / the main part of our holiday as the rooms were basic and very clinical; there wasn't even a bedside light. The breakfast was also basic with not much to choose from.

I have mixed feelings about this property. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the corner room itself was comfortable and decent-sized for 1 person. It would have been a bit tight for 2 people though. Breakfast was just ok... not a lot of options, but good enough I suppose. However, I didn't find the dining staff to be very friendly. What makes the property a bit less desirable is its location. It's a good 15 minutes or more from the train and bus station, which was farther than I expected since I was pulling my luggage. It's also about 15 minutes from the historic center of Ljubljana -- also slightly farther than I expected based n the maps. And oddly, the property is hard to find as the signage from the main street isn't obvious and the entrance to the hotel itself is on the back side of a rather sterile office-type building that is adjacent to the entrance to a hospital. This means there were hospital nurses, technicians, emergency personnel, family members of patients, etc. constantly standing in front of the hospital entrance -- smoking and talking. My room overlooked all of this activity and it was all very odd. Also, there was some construction going on right below my window at the hospital entrance, which was a bit loud in the morning when I was trying to sleep.

The twin-bed weren’t comfortable

Excellent option, easy walk to old town in < 10 mins, super clean, comfortable beds, easy walk from train station < 10 mins and fair breakfast with eggs, oats, bread, fruit, cheese and ham. Would definitely return. Also, fridge in the room, parking and very safe area.

We had avery nice stay here. The staff was very helpful in tracking down our lost luggage!

The room was small but adequate and clean. The location was easy to visit sites. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was average. Our main issue was the smell in the hallway. There was a pail to collect drips from the third floor and a horrible smell. We had three rooms and we could only smell it it one room. We also had an issue with parking the first night and had to pay $32 to park nearby. The staff was helpful to find a spot. By the second day a spot opened up in the hotel lot.

Quiet room and nice breakfast icluede in the price.

Access to the hotel was very awkward breakfast was terrible definitely skip that... handle for the bathroom door was falling off shelf in the shower was falling off shower rail was also abouf to fall off gave the appearance of a nice modern hotel but really didnt feel like it could hear other guests too so rooms not sound proofed pretty poor really

We liked the location. The receptionist at check in was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok; the range and quality of items available was not as good as our comparable hotel stays. The corridor to our room smelt musty and our impressions were not improved by a leak from the ceiling into a bucket outside our room.

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely terrible. Lighting was very minimal in the room and the air conditioner was noisy. Also, the shower leaked all over.

Uncomfortably small room, appropriate for one person. Bed was clean and soft but under bed was filthy with dust and debris. Hotel is next door to an ER. Sirens at night and sketchy people hanging out. Breakfast is very basic. We had to move out the third night even we booked for 7 nights. Apparently, the hotel showed poor maintenance, bad management although staff were very apologetic Pictures didn’t match with reality. Price is high for the size and amenities. Only location is near the center town

I didn’t like the small lobby and the entrance to hotel lobby. It is located at the back of the building and hard to find.
