I wouldn’t stay here again

I stayed for 7 nights in hotel Meksiko. My room was facing the hospital so up until 9pm, you can sometimes hear the helicopter landing on the top of the hospital. Plus: 1 min to Hofer (Aldi) 12-15 mins from bus station / city centre. Staff were fab. Hotel is not manned 24/7, so after 8 or 9pm, you will need a code to access it. The breakfast is basic, and the same each day; and some food (ie oranges, bananas etc) are cut so as not to be taken away to eat on the journey. The room, although they changed my towels when asked, the floor was not hoovered, and I could still see crumbs or hair from days before. The room however was spacious and had a fridge in it, which was wonderful. The air con was also a gift. They had enough plugs in the room. Shower kept wetting floor even when shower door was closed. Toilet buttons would often get stuck and I would need to pull them out for it to function again. Wish they had a kettle in the room. Good stay - especially for my last min trip and budget wise. For me - the hotel is a bit too far out from the centre, but met my basic needs.

When I check in the girl at reception was not very friendly. When I went into my room the room and bathroom was clean but the bed linen was dirty and it was obvious it wasn't changed. I went down to reception and told the girl at reception. She kept saying it can't be possible and kept arguing with me. invited her to the room to observe for herself. She refused to do this. Eventually she got hold of someone in house keeping and by the time I got back into my room the bottom sheet had already been changed. In hindside I wish I had asked for the whole bed linen to be changed as I am sure the whole bed was not changed after it was used. I stayed for 7 nights and although the towels where changed the bed linen was never changed. I found the rest of the staff very friendly and helpful

Hotel photos are done well. It’s within 20m of major hospital so traffic and sirens and helicopters all time of day and night. Rooms are small and basic, bathroom is acceptable. Check in, they don’t tell you how to get the parking, it’s advertised on their website as free, but they want 18 euro a day. Breakfast … basic, poor, prob fitting Titos Yugoslavia in a famine Did out of hours check in and told to check in at 9am, only to be told be receptionist that check in was later ….

Don’t stay here. It’s not a long walk to the centre but it’s in a run down district and I didn’t feel safe. It’s right next to a hospital. Difficult to find. Poor parking area. Huge room with few amenities. Very dusty. Only 2 plug sockets miles from the bed. No safe. No kettle. No bath mat. Shower head attachment in our room had broken so you cannot fix the shower up and have to hold it. Scratchy towels. The breakfast was dreadful. Weak juice, weak coffee, dry bread, no jam or marmalade. I could go on but I think you get the idea!

Good hotel for the price. Despite some reviews mentioning the noise from the adjacent hospital, I found it to be very quiet. The location is convenient to the bus/train station and the city center. There was plenty of food and seating at breakfast. I would stay here again.

Quick easy check in. We had booked a budget room and on arrival to the 2nd floor saw signs saying they were under construction. Everything seamed ok until we realised the toilet was flooding then wouldn’t flush. The lovely lady on reception came with me to check, when she realised it was a broken toilet she upgraded us to another room leaving us with key cards to both rooms overnight as she didn’t want us to feel rushed packing up and moving rooms. No problems with breakfast at all. It’s complementary and plenty of seating inside and out. Downside was no access to tea or coffee outside of breakfast time. This was made even more tricky as we discovered when we arrived on the Friday afternoon that most of the local coffee shops close on Friday around 3pm and don’t open again until Monday morning, if you like us and need a coffee in the morning don’t go over the weekend.

I am extremely disappointed with the hotel cleaning. The morning before I left the hotel, I saw a beg bug. (I have pictures.) I was completely disgusted. Unfortunately, no staff member was around the early morning when to departed for my flight . Also, the cleaning crew did a subpar job cleaning the bathroom. They did not clean the sink or the bathroom floor. There was some hair that was left on the counter and shower water that was on the floor before they arrived and remained there after they left. So, I assumed they only replaced the bathroom toilets. I sent a message through the app regarding the bed bug I saw. It’s been almost a week, and no one has responded to my message. I have at least four bumps from being bitten by a bed bug. I would suggest find lodging elsewhere.

Firstly I'd like to say the breakfast was excellent. The food is fresh daily and the staff work extremely hard to keep the trays full and tidy. 5* Some of the reception staff are lovely others not so. The room cleaning needs improvement. Areas are dusty and not sure how clean bed linen was. Beds need an upgrade as do the pillows Hotel is near the hospital so there is often noise. Overall if you want a budget hotel it's fine to stay here.

The room was not cleaned daily. The bed was made, and new towels were provided. The breakfast was limited and the same items were available everyday. Also, the food was low or completely out before being replenished. Additionall, there is construction at this time. The hotel is located beside a hospital.

Pleasant hotel for the price. Breakfast could be better but stay was satisfactory.

The hotel is next to an emergency department which could be off putting at first but actually wasn't a problem. Only 15 mins walk away from the centre I found it an ideal location. The rooms are of a good size and have everything you need. The towels are changed daily if needed but the beds are not made. Breakfast is quite basic with cereals, meat, cheese and a couple of hot options, but again was adequate. Would have liked a kettle in the room but overall good for a 3 star hotel.

The staff were very good, breakfast was disappointing, especially the espresso and the eggs. But they are minor things, point to note is that the hotel is next to the main hospital and the helicopter landing pad was less than 100 metres from my bedroom window. The hotel generally was a good place to b, unless you are over 2 metres tall, the beds are a bit short.

rooms were clean. staff was helpful. good air condition. I asked for queen bed and they gave two twin next to each other. shower handle was not attached to wall. no place to put soap and shampoo. you have to hold shower handle in one hand to take shower. very uncomfortable. Breakfast had same thing every morning. scrambled eggs, mini hotdog, cold cuts, chesses, bread, cereal etc... very limited parking only 7 cars in garage and two outside. I would rate this 2.5 to 3 star hotel.

Good location easy walk to main square. Nice staff good breakfast. Would have liked a kettle and coffee maker in room or in common area. Nice having an elevator

The hotel is located as part of a building beside the main hospital. It has a few supermarkets right next door so useful from that point of view. As you enter there are signs telling you that construction is ongoing on site. In our bathroom there was a shower enclosure but no attachment for the shower head so you had to hold it. It’s a no frills room. The breakfast was good. Approximately 15 minutes walk to town centre.

Room is small and not clean (part of the bed sheet also has a whole). Terrible way of checking in after 9pm (we were also given wrong code to the door which added 1h of us waiting outside with our luggage and 11 months daughter). Absolutely ridiculous experience and will never take this hotel ever again.
