B&B Hotel Madrid Centro Plaza Mayor

Real good, well located.

I just stayed for the night and it was exactly what I needed. The single room was easy, with a small amount of steps to the lift, for those with heavy luggage.

Very good location. Very nice and spacious rooms. Sadly no elevator in our room so make sure you have muscles and can carry your luggage through stairs. Noisy.. can hear the other room partying and talking.. had to turn our tv whole night to drown out noise from outside.

Excellent location, and the staff at check in was amazing. Our room was difficult to access with many flights of stairs up and down to a first floor room to navigate the unique layout. Not a problem other than at check in and out when we had our heavy luggage and an elevator was not an option. We reserved and got a “family room” to sleep three. The beds were very comfortable but the room was small and odd shaped it was hard to walk last one bed to get to the others and had not enough space to open up suitcases or drawers to store clothes. I think the unique layout of the building has made for odd room setup. I love how conscious B&B is about conserving towel use and plastic room keys, digital locks made it easy to not get locked out. Overall, greet staff, great company, this building is just a challenge.

Unusual property, digital check in and a somewhat difficult code to open the room door in the dark and the stairs are funky but the price to amenity ratio is very good

Excellent location with Plaza Mayor within feet of the front door. 24 hour coffee station was a nice touch. Small, but clean room. Our only concern was housekeeping entering our room multiple times one afternoon after our room was cleaned. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on our door and she entered it anyway. Reception could not give a reason why. Besides that, it was a great stay.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were so incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable and the daily breakfast pastries and water left on our door every morning were a lovely treat. The coffee corner was a nice spot to sit in and enjoy a coffee and snack too. The location of the hotel is also perfect for exploring and easy to walk around and to access the metro, buses and trains. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable we will definitely be recommending your hotel!

I found B&B hotel a surprisingly great hotel despite my first impression of the premises. The room was small, but it actually had everything I needed. A classic efficient hotel, though small it was a great location, a good price, and well managed. The staff were very kind, helpful, and cheerful. I was always greeted every time I went through the lobby. Staff willingly kept bags behind the desk, offered dining suggestions, and called for cabs. The location can't be beat for the moderate price.

It's very close to everything! Restaurants, metro, bus stops, etc. Our room was a little run down, meaning the wallpaper had peeled away from the wall, but they had pinned it back to the wall. It also wasn't elevator accessible so we had to go up a set of stairs, then down the stairs, up 2 steps and then up a set of stairs. When you've walked 20,000+ steps, climbing stairs was the last thing we wanted to do. We also booked the room based on it having a breakfast included. The breakfast was a mini-muffin, croissant and a pouch of water. But at least it was delivered to your door every morning.

Location is just golden ! Lots and lots of landmarks and museums are in walking (up to 20 minutes) distance. The room is small . So small , that you don't get even a wardrobe. At all. They have a "coffee corner" in the hotel , but it's 2 floors deep underground , with no elevator access. Some coffee machine with "meh" coffee and some free snacks , like fruits and bakery. We got small presents every morning: water and some sweet bakery like donut. Overall : very solid proposition for its price. Not perfect, but good. Would suggest for short stays , cause storage space is an issue , and laundry stupidly expensive (they charge per item).

The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Every morning I had a bottle of water and croissant hanging on my door which was a lovely touch. All good with stay, there is the usual hotel noise due to inconsiderate people. I experienced some street noise but that didn’t disrupt my sleep. Would recommend to anyone as location is just perfect

This was a phenomenal hotel. Great location, with very friendly staff and a small but clean and comfortable room.

The hotel is well placed but we felt the property was unsuitable as a hotel , the were many difficult staircases and corridors which were lit by sensors that only came on after you were on the stair or in the corridor. The decoration on walls and in the corridors was dark and depressing. The two plus points were a surprisingly comfortable bed and a clean bathroom . We decided would not stay there again

Had a wonderful time at this hotel, location was great right next to Plaza Mayor. We were only in Madrid for 3 days however we were able to see everything we wanted to due to the close proximity. The rooms are small but that’s the normal size for hotels in the centre of Madrid, the bathroom was bigger than other hotels I have stayed in Madrid and we found everything to be as comfortable as we needed. The staff was what made our experience above amazing, they were always helpful when anything was needed, able to provide help and advice. They also left us breakfast on our door each morning which was a very sweet surprise to wake up to.
