All excellent including the breakfast.

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación. El desayuno variado, pero frío, el personal muy amable. Pero los colchones de las camas son muy viejos, incómodos, sucios.

Excellent location. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond.

The hotel is very well situated on Gran Via, which is the main street in the heart of Madrid, but like other hotels in capital cities, the rooms are quite small and there's not much room. Our standard room had a double bed, a desk and chair and a wardrobe. There were bedside drawers so there was space to unpack your clothes. The bathroom was large, with a ridiculously oversized counter top with 2 sinks. This would have been lovely, however this was so large it barely left enough room to use the toilet, or get into the bath to have a shower. Also the hand soap dispenser was not over the counter, so every time you used it, it dripped on the floor. The breakfast was good - continental style with a decent selection of breads and pastries, yoghurts and fruit, cheeses and cold meats and a hot counter with eggs, spanish omelette, croquettes and bacon - overall a good breakfast experience. One thing that did annoy me was that the room was listed with Air Conditioning, however this did not work. When we queried this with the Reception, they said it wasn't switched on for the whole hotel because it wasn't warm enough outside yet - we were hot - it was 20 degrees outside. So, they gave us a freestanding fan, which did move the air around a bit, and cooled the room at night.

It's an OK hotel in a very good location. I entered the room and it had a horrible smell. Called reception and they were very friendly but had a group of 30 people coming in so things took a while. All got settled.

The front desk were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. The parking garage behind hotel was 53 for two days.

The hotel is perfectly located, they have breakfast service included which is a plus. The icky complain I have is the beds. The beds were so uncomfortable, the mattress was so thin that one could feel the frame, it was so hard that my hips are still hurting. Those mattresses need replacement ASAP

Great location for Madrid Center

Our flight was cancelled and we had to book a hotel last minute. We have stayed at Melia hotels before so I assumed this one would be about the same standard. Boy was I wrong. This hotel was disgusting. The beds were completely worn out and the mattresses were filthy. The room had stains on the walls and the furniture was worn out beyond belief. There was a vomit stain on the side of the boxspring. The only positive was that there was no sign of bedbugs One star at best.

Perfect for shopping

Hotel is very convenience located right on the main street, Gran Via, but lacks of amenities or/and comfort, I had the two single beds room, mattresses were terrible wore up and putting them together was almost impossible. No coffee maker or refrigerator which staying for three days was very inconvenience, other than that everything was great fantastic, i took the bus a couple of time and bus stop was right in front of the hotel a few steps from the hotel door. we also enjoyed the buffet for ten euros each person and it was well worth it.

This is just an annexe to a hotel. No atmosphere. Just a place people pass through - hotel rooms and breakfast area accessed from a narrow ground floor lobby. But staff friendly.
