Hotel Malcom and Barret

We were given a room in the main hotel building. The room was comfortable and clean and very large. The bathroom had a very good shower too. We stayed here to go to a gig at the Roig Arena and it was very convenient for this, only a slow 15 minute walk (it was the Summer so very hot outside). We were delighted that at 11pm at night we could still enjoy some food after the gig in the hotel restaurant because the kitchen opened until 12.30am. The food was excellent as was breakfast the next day. There was less around the area for tourists than the city centre but the location was very good for the arena. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone planning on going to the Roig arena.

Located close to many amenities while in a fairly low pace location great for relaxation. Visited in the hot humid summer, but their cool rooms were the perfect temperature. Restaurant has good food and drinks conveniently located. Highly recommend.

The staff were so kind and helpful to stranded visitors who's luggage was lost due to rerouting flights. The food in the dining room was so good, delicious and hot for two weiry travelers. A BIG thank you to everyone who made our stay comfortable and pleasing.

Great location, not far away from historic DT , but close to it by bus, with the advantage of not being in a loud neighborhood. Excellent restaurant. Great staff.

Food was not appealing or tasty

Everything was great except for the onsite parking garage — very tight,steep and sharp turn to get in, getting out was even worse and if you drive a van, simply impossible!.. We had a mid size SUV and it fit just enough but the struggle was real especially if you have safety features that don’t allow you to proceed when bells and lights come on from being too close to anything (walls and other cars). But the location fit our needs as tourists — close to the new town (oceanographic and museum of arts and sciences) and old town (cathedral, la lonja, plaza de la virgen, central market).. not walking distance but taxi was €6-7.. We planned to leave our veicle anyway for short distance excursions as parking anywhere around both towns is just an impossible mission. Location was ~2 hours to Montanejos

We loved the hotel. Small, but clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent at affordable prices. We do not regret staying there.

The hotel gave us a warm welcome. Overall it was a good place to stay, but our rooms were a little small. The city centre was accessible- about 15 minutes walk and the new buildings in the science park, aquarium etc were a similar distance. We had a good dinner at the hotel bar.

This was a great, clean and friendly place to visit. We were three adults and there were two bathrooms in the unit. This is great for families and many were there enjoying their stay. Highly recommend if you visit Valencia.

Clean room, I’ll stay again there

Excellent facility, service and tasty food.

The hotel is nice , the staff are nice too but there are downsides hence my honest review . The lack of response from Expedia messages to the hotel which I guess go to the hotel as I received a book in now request from them . The main review as only ok was the room noise. If you want a peaceful night's sleep down pick a room that is opposite the street outside because it's noisy and you won't sleep. Again I was asked from Expedia about the hotel 2 days into my stay, the response from Expedia was the hotel manager will contact about your message (room noise) but nothing no contact then or since . There are positives like the hotel looks nice and staff are nice but the hotel room is way too noisy and the lack of response from the hotel is poor .

Staff were brilliant and helped me retrieve a lost item on arrival. Room was very nice and everything i needed. Location of hotel was superb bus stops are few minutes away. Will happily stay here again.

They do not accept american express, they do not change us dollars for Euros, they have a sataircase and an elevator for luggage that is uncomfortable and cumbersome, the rooms smell to humidity .

Room too small and noise.

Room was basic window looked on to brick wall massive bed very comfy no milk left for a coffee reception staff were lovely check in was good went down to restaurant nice touch they give everyone free drink I had chicken burger for dinner was lovely not many chips my husband had pork nachos not a lot of topping just on top which meant once he eat top half he had bowl of dry nachos no cheese on it Went to concert after that came back staff were rude I know they are busy but waited 20 minutes to try get drink ended up we left
