INTER Plaza Mayor - Auto Check-in

Everything was as described. Amazing.!!!

The ubication was very good; close to Main Plaza and Puerta del Sol. The room was OK, with a balcony and the bathroom only had toilett and liquid soap for hands. The bathroom had no shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, or hair dryer, and the shower soap dispenser was completely empty. It was impossible to take a shower. There's no reception, and you need a code to enter the building, as well as the hostel itself. Last night, my mother and I arrived at midnight after dinner and couldn't get into the building because the code they gave me didn't work. After 15 minutes (it was freezing, and my 84-year-old mother was there), some guests arrived and opened the entrance door with a new code, which it wasn’t informed to me. Finally, when I tried to check in at the hostel's automated machine, I entered my last name, and it said I hadn't paid, even though I had paid the reservation in full. I had to contact them via WhatsApp, and they told me to check in again with my reservation number. Only then did it show that my reservation was fully paid in advance.

Could not enter property because did noy get code. Had to wait fot a guest to get out. I called sent email whats app no answer. Inside lobby diferent phone number Then they answer. Very stresfull situation

El lugar donde se encuentra ubicado

La ubicación es excelente, el edificio es viejo y el sistema es poco amigable.

When you arrive to the apartment blg. you ring the intercom of the hostal and nobody answers, I phone the contact number on my reservation and the # is not in service; finally 2 guests came and they let me in. Elevator doesn’t work, it’s on the 3rd floor. Once in the hostal Cindy was most helpful and walked us through the check in process from a machine

No limpiaron la habitación mientras estuvimos (2 noches) porque la limpieza se hace cada tercer dia.

Could use some updating, a hook or something for your towels and a small table. Shower drain needed to be snaked

Super fácil de hacer el check in, además, te atienden en tiempo casi para cualquier problema. Solo cuando se nos acabó el papel del baño no nos resolvieron, pero para todo lo demás por WhatsApp directamente te atienden. La ubicación es buenísima ! Tienes un metro cerca (Sol), la plaza mayor, la plaza del sol, al norte el jardín del retiro y todo lo que queda de ese lado, y para el otro lado el palacio y todo lo que queda para allá. Me volvería a quedar ahí sin dudarlo. No entendí como hacen la limpieza pero creo que es un día sí y otro no. Camas un duras pero por el precio, lo vale.

Easy, check-in, cleanliness, nice duvet, great kitchen, wood floors, great windows, good shower, Good communication with staff. Very central and convenient part of town.

Mold on the roof. Paint smell im the room. A window to the corridor, where the lights kept blinking all the night. Checkout was at 12.00, arrived a 11.30 and the cleaning woman was on our room saying that the checkout was at 11.00 Worst experience ever

Despite the fact that there is no front desk or reception are this is the best and our favourite place to stay in Madrid.
