Direct on the beach, excellent location. The hotel itself is a little weard out, hasn't been refurbished since several years. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Ideal for those who have limited budget but willing to stay on a perfect location

Sitting on the terrace enjoying the view whilst having an excellent breakfast couldn't ask for more. Tranquil and relaxing. Bed was comfy. Staff as usual in Sri Lanka were amazing. Good value for money.

Terrible hotel , staff very unprofessional and food was not always fresh , I stay at approximately 30 hotels a year and are usually very fair and honest in my reviews, avoid this hotel total Faulty Towers but without the sense of humour , however it is right smack on the beach in a fabulous location

The hotel is old, dilapidated, repainted from the street and dingy from the back. The rooms are small and cramped. The bathroom is dirty and requires urgent renovation. The hotel surroundings are full of garbage. The beach is a tragedy!, run over by cars, very very dirty. Neglected swimming pool. I had booked a deluxe room with a view. I didn't get the room in the photos. Neither deluxe nor sea view. Nice service, bad breakfast (unless you like curry - I don't care)

Met at airport. Checked in at 5 am porter to handle heavy liggage. Woke early afternoon and had something to eat on terrace. Food available all day. Tours arranged. Atm at front door and selection of other bars. And restaurants on the spot. Easy and relaxing.

This the worst hotel experience I've had through hotels.com (which I've generally been quite pleased with). We had paid for one of the more expensive rooms, deluxe or sureprior, I can't recall the exact name now, and after being showed the room, I returned to the counter to ask if they were sure this was the room that we had booked. I showed him the photos of the room type I had booked from hotels.com and the man at the front desk simply laughed and said "oh no, that is one of our apartments, those are sold out". The condition of our room was terrible, the shower barely worked at all, and I had to spend about 15 minutes fixing the toilet before it worked. I absolutely loved the rest of Sri Lanka, but I would definitely not recommend this area, and particularly not this hotel.
