Quality Hotel Carlia

Our room was fairly small, and also the double bed. The Sky Bar was spectacular, even if the beer pumps didn't function! Breakfast was very good.

Friendly staff and generous breakfast. But otherwise the hotel does not warrant the rates charged. The overall impression is low quality, cheap and stingy.

Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room. The window could be opened, which helped a bit. It was unfortunate that their gym and sauna facilities were being renovated as we would have enjoyed use of them. Although the area around the property has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and small town shopping, the street immediately in front of the hotel is under construction and closed off, which made getting to the property tricky. The breakfast buffet was good, though it would have been nice to have items more clearly labeled for those with dietary restrictions/allergies. A member of our party is vegan and had some difficulty figuring out their options. When we asked the food service worker, she did not know the difference between vegetarian and vegan, so they recommended options that had milk and eggs. Other than these items, our one-night stay was comfortable.

First time in Sweden, this hotel was better then I expected. Rooms are great, very comfortable, sound proof rooms, staff is amazing and speaks English well and can help with everything, the breakfast is by far the best part OMG. The hotel is close to the central station which helps a lot, it’s in walking distance of grocery stores and many restaurants etc. by far a great place and I will be coming back very soon. ❤️

Personalen var jättetrevlig. Rummet stort och mysigt, lite slitet såg man bl.a. på listor. Saknade en vattenkokare och the/kaffe och en kontakt i badrummet.

We have stayed here a few times now and it is a perfectly OK hotel, maybe it is a bit expensive – Uddevalla is not the metropolis that everyone wants to go to. It is also a bit worn, this is especially noticeable in the bathrooms which could use a major refresh. Clean and tidy in general though, the breakfast is also good. But there is also a noticeable decline there, the range is still good, but the ingredients are worse. For example, the ham is pressed ham and it is not orange juice, it is watery orange squash.

Frukosten hade ett bra utbut men jag fann hårstrån på olika ställen samt kändes en hel del grejer tyvärr inte så färska.

Fint værelse, god service og meget lækker morgenmad

Rummet var fint o modernt. Personalen var tillmötesgående och trevlig.

Bra standard på rum. Mycket trevlig personal.

Frokost veldig bra,service veldig bra. Rommet var ok men dårlig seng og slitt bad. Kunne hatt bedre seng. Har bodd her før og på annet rom med bedre seng.

Dejligt hotel. Havde et compact db værelse som var fint og rummeligt. God morgenmad. Skybaren var fin men det med at bestille drinks via QR kode virkede ikke.
