Our room was fairly small, and also the double bed. The Sky Bar was spectacular, even if the beer pumps didn't function! Breakfast was very good.

Friendly staff and generous breakfast. But otherwise the hotel does not warrant the rates charged. The overall impression is low quality, cheap and stingy.

Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room. The window could be opened, which helped a bit. It was unfortunate that their gym and sauna facilities were being renovated as we would have enjoyed use of them. Although the area around the property has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and small town shopping, the street immediately in front of the hotel is under construction and closed off, which made getting to the property tricky. The breakfast buffet was good, though it would have been nice to have items more clearly labeled for those with dietary restrictions/allergies. A member of our party is vegan and had some difficulty figuring out their options. When we asked the food service worker, she did not know the difference between vegetarian and vegan, so they recommended options that had milk and eggs. Other than these items, our one-night stay was comfortable.

First time in Sweden, this hotel was better then I expected. Rooms are great, very comfortable, sound proof rooms, staff is amazing and speaks English well and can help with everything, the breakfast is by far the best part OMG. The hotel is close to the central station which helps a lot, it’s in walking distance of grocery stores and many restaurants etc. by far a great place and I will be coming back very soon. ❤️

Frukosten var en av de bästa jag varit med om. Fantastisk! Baren var riktigt mysig och fin utsikt.

Allt va väldigt bra, smidigt med parkering

Centralt läge med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mycket bra frukost och restaurang 1803 kan varmt rekommenderas. Rummet var relativt rent men något gammaldags och skulle kanske behöva en renovering. Ett extra plus var att man fick låna gymkort till gymmet 24/7som ligger bara 100 meter från hotellet.

Meget bra. Selv med lite rom var der alt vi trengte og mere til. Kunne forsyne oss med kaffe, småkaker og frukt i resepsjonen. All betjening veldig hyggelig også ved frokosten hvor vi fikk tilbudt ekstra kaffe ved bordene.

Välstädat rum. Läget är bra. Bra parkering som är gratis, vilket verkligen uppskattas. Supertrevlig personal och väldigt bra utbud på frukosten.
